I've just been sent the following stats of Bale's appearances for us:
Played: 20
Won: 0
Drawn: 7
Lost: 13
Scored: 24
Conceded: 40
Pts: 7 out of 60
It doesn't make good reading
Yeah but anyone with a brain knows those stats are't down to a single player. Especially the left back.
Under Ramos bale was EASILY our best player.
Tottenham Hotspur - A Life Long Labour of Love.
we just erased berba and keane from our memorys now![]()
Bale will become a great tottenham player given time and confidence, same as bostock will be lets not forget these are young lads with abundance of potential just be patient they will come good in the blue and white colours.
he has the potential alright, to cost us alot of points.
i dont believe much in superstition but , come on . those stats are appaling for a single player . was a fan of bale but really now i think we should offload . imo
What's more ... I can't remember the last time he did something I thought was good. Sorry but time to go!![]()
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs and blaming it on you ... you probably haven't a clue what's going on!
thats not completely true, he's neva won a premiership but he has a great cup record something like 8 games and we've won 7 of them, it was on skysports website a few months ago
bale is one of the players who has cost us points this season .....and needs to go keep BAE and send bale to whoever wants him !!!
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and foremost about winning. It's nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It's about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom."
-Danny Blanchflower
I keep seeing "he has bags of potential" and "is still only young" that may be, but look at players like Messi who was a world beater at 17. Now I know players of Messi's calibur don't come around that often, but come on. We're struggling at the bottom of the table, with a youngster who keeps costing us points due to his 'lack of experience'. There is absolutly nothing to say Bale will become the player we all want him to be in a few years, he has been a complete liability this season, and I'm sorry but thats not good enough, no matter how old he is.
with more confidence i think he'll b reborn
I feel since he had that long injury hes been very poor. I remember when first joined he was quality, taking on defenders and banging in free kicks. Since injury loses possesion, cant remember him taking a decent free kick and doesnt look like he has the passion. If anything higher than 12 million gonna have to think about it.
Sometimes in life you've gotta risk it for a biscuit !
Bale has disappointed me so far this season. I was wondering for a while why Harry was putting him on the bench and Ekotto at left back, now I can see why!
He looks like he has never kicked a ball before. He hits the ball so flat and it stays only inches off the ground. Reminds me of my tee shots.
Send him back to Cardiff for the rest of the season and take it from there.
