Yes it wasnt the best performance by miles but what if defoe had scored from oharas ball? What if zokora passed back to defoe like he should of done? We would of won 2-0 or 2-1 and then people wouldnt be moaning so much. We tried a new formation and it didnt work so well harry will sort it out for next game!
Im sorry but we havnt been convincing all season but we are more than capable of the results you dont need to play solid in every posistion to grind out a result all the time just a bit of luck and a couple moments of excellence which we are more than capable of.
The match could of easily turned out another way if gomes didnt get injured and defoe scored the 2 he probably should have then no one would be talking about the drop, sort it out lads we win our next game and were out the relegation area, 2 wins and we would probably be around 11th! We just need to get through this season then harry can truly begin to build his own squad and remove the rubbish. Great manager, Great chairmen, Great fans, Great club - Stop worrying!
Harry will sort us out, if theres 1 manager who can do it its him so have some faith and stop being so negative!

Im not one for bashing the team just for the sake of it, but we have some problems in the team and this forum is exactly the place to discuss them I dont think its being too negative.
I would say the attitude ':
"Great manager, Great chairmen, Great fans, Great club - Stop worrying!"...
sounds a bit like, we're to good/big to go down. I hope 'arry doesnt count those things.... as you only get points for a win not for being well supported or well financed.

Well he has came out and has said that there only a few players on this team who actually defend for their life and I think hes had enough of it already. If it is the Harry I know, he will get stuck right into these lads in training until they know properly the words determination and defending til the cow comes home!!
If we had of won today which was virtually impossible because it was looking so horrible on our side of the pitch, but anyway we would have gone clear to 11th and 2 more wins would have seperated us from the pack at the bottom of the table or a draw would have just picked us out of the relegation zone. It will be interesting to see what Harry does to turn this round.

There is no doubt we are in a dire situation but we are no where near relegated yet.

I agree that we are far from relegated, it is still so tight a couple of wins gets you out of trouble, but there is no point in saying 'if we had won' , we didn't, end of story!

The apparent lack of commitment and desire is a real problem. Yesterday was a massive game that would have lifted us from 18th to 11th and really taken the heat off us. If the players aren't up for that then god help us. Add to that the fact that the side is poorly balanced which Redknapp has admitted and its clear that we really are in bother.
As a seperate point one of the positions we really need to strengthen in is defensive midfield. What do you think about young Cattermole from Wigan? Would he be up to the job or would he do what every other promising player does when they arrive at Spurs and play like a complete donkey? Just a thought.
Looks like Appiah will add bite to the middle of the park when he signs in the next few days, and the swap deal with Bentley and Downing cant come soon enough.
This was always going to be a long hard seaon after the disasters in the transfer market in the summer and the awful start! Yesterday we were very unlucky, not awful! Had Dawson and Gomes not been injured we would have got a draw away to the most in form team in the premiership at the moment. Had a bit of luck gone our way we may have won it. We didn't so we have to try again. There is nothing that will get us relegated as fast as thinking we have no chance. Let's be positive, give Harry and the squad support to get us out of this mess. We are not too big to go down and I am not complacent but we can stay up. There are a dozen other clubs in this relegation battle so ... let's battle and stop moaning!

The fact that people are negative only reflects the sh1t on offer by our players, weve dont the get behind the lads approach time and time again its about time they played their way out of this effing mess.
I listened to Graham Roberts on talk Sport again this morning a man who commands respect and feels exactly like i do with this bunch of none entities.
He beleives we will be relegated if they dont sort them selfs out and anyone who believes were too good to go down is a mug.
Il settle for one place above relegation right now.
I just hope Harry has some quality lined up to replace our quite shocking midfield.

For a rant I think you pulled out some fine points and I also believe it takes a true fan, with true love to have some true emotions for the club.
I have to remind everyone, I support THFC... Tottenham Hotspur Football CLub... and I'm here year in year out. That doesn't mean I have to support the current set up from the board down to the doctors blindly.
They all come and go, we stay. IMHO no one is above getting a strip teared off them....
