Good Morning, We visit Watford this evening for a 19.45 start
in the Carling Cup Quarter Final. This competition has certainly
opened up after last nights results, with Burnley and Derby
already through to the Semis. The remaining game being
ManU V Blackburn, also tonight.
Our game is live on Skysports One.
Watford have a late fitness test for Jon Harley, and Mariappa.
Ledley will be rested, Modric and Jenas are on the way back.
Modric may get a place on the bench I would think. Hutton and
Dos Santos still out. If Harry fancies KPB, I am wondering if he
may get a start tonight, after a few minutes on the field lately.
Bent, has looked out of sorts, so perhaps Campbell and Pav.

An early goal to settle the nerves, and an easy win, or a
nail biting night at Vicarage Road?
What Are Your Views?
Nail biting night seems more likely considering it's Spurs
Even an early goal doesn't settle my nerves as too many times we don't get a second or don't get it until late in the match.
I've went for a 2-0 prediction anyway, a clean sheet and more than 1 goal scored would do everyones confidence some good!
"It's no use just winning, we've got to win well."
sky sports news are reporting that shay given has ruled out a move to spurs , as harry redknapp is in the market for a new keeper ? this will give gomez,s confidence no good at all . sorry to get off topic ......... i predict 2 - 4 win for the spurs as watford will have a real go .

"The great fallacy is that the game is first and foremost about winning. It's nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It's about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom."
-Danny Blanchflower
I think it will be far from easy tonight. We have been poor the last two games and weren't very convincing against Blackburn. An away trip to Watford on a freezing cold December evening will never be straight forward.
As for Redkanpp reportedly being in the market for a new keeper it doesnt surprise me in the slightest. It is bound to knock Gomes confidence but needs must I'm afraid. We have been linked with Given, Green and James. Any of these would do me nicely.
Good Afternoon, have to agree that it does not look easy,
just hope we can prevail...
Shay comes out and says he is not interested, the day after
we are linked with Marcus Hahnemann... Makes me wonder
if the Reading keeper may be on his way to us in January...
Its not going to be easy at all. The weather is freezing and it will be a cold rough hard pitch so i expect a tough game.
Even so im going for a tough 3-1 win
Hopefully a place in the the last 4 and then hopefully a place at Wembley will be the team talk tonight we really should put Watford away although i`m not as confident as i know i should be.
Good Evening, Tonight's Team...
Gomes, Corluka, Woodgate, Dawson, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon,
Zokora, Jenas, O'Hara, Pavlyuchenko, Campbell.

We look pretty strong, we just have to get back to our good passing around and get confidence when on the ball and we will do good!
Substitutes
Cesar Sanchez , Gareth Bale , Darren Bent , David Bentley ,
Kevin-Prince Boateng , Chris Gunter , Tom Huddlestone

i detect an air of no confindence for 2nites game amongst us all, which after sundays showing is understandable, but you gotta fancy us to win, heard on talk sport bostock was in starting line up, darren bent could be the man 2nite, he.s due a performance!!!. thfc4life.
bents on the bench mate but i think we should be strong enough to go through fingers crossed
Not already!
Redknapp-"winning's a great habit"
At least we are on par at half time....
