Guys, not sure if this is done before (looked but didnt find anything). But I would like to hear your stories about Ramos, how he treated the players, the food issue, throwing fellas in the reserves, taking away squad numbers - not talking during half time.

If its a rumour, say so, if its "fact" (i.e. you have a source, or a newspaper).... but i just want to know what you guys know about how bad it became, how unhappy the players were.

And one more thing. Does anyone know why he lost his job on the day he did?

      The Ramos Story (abbrieviated works)

Martin Jol was great manager but had bad run - Levy kicked him out after approaching Ramos.
Ramos joined - he's a saviour everyone chimed - has won UEFA cup twice
Made very few tactical changes, spoke no English - Poyet was his mouth to the press.
He said our player were fat and bloated - they cut out chps and ketchup.
We won some games, and lost a few. Blew away Arsenal 5-1 in the CC.
Wont the CC by beating Chelski 2-1 through Woodgate's headed goal from glorious set piece.
He still couldn't speak english, players stopped playing.
We didn't win again for ages.
Berba saga started up again and again and never finshed till last day of transfer..
      Keane left.
Bought Pav, Modric, Bentley, Corluka, Dos Santos.
Didn't by Arshavin or any other striker.
Got rid of a few 'fringe' and 1st team Jol players.
      Brilliant pre-season.
Bent on Fire - beat Roma 5-0 in PRE SEASON.
Tottenham definite top 4 they said.
      Lost
      Kept losing
      A draw - yippe.
      OH no - lost again..
      etc etc.
      Rams still couldnt speak English.
Levy finally realised that Redknapp was the man.
Everyone got kicked out bar Clive Allen.
Enter Harry and all is good in the world.
      THE END.

I was thinking about this sort of thing after the NEC game last night. I thought it was great to see kids from the academy coming on to taste a bit of European Competition, if only for a couple minutes. It should help give them the hunger for more & accelerate their development.

There appears to be a pattern forming under Harry that I just couldn't see as very likely under Ramos. It was certainly nothing to do with why Juande lost his job but it does point to how things have improved now Harry's here. Sure, Ramos unearthed Jamie O'Hara & he must take credit for that but that is just the one player in the year that Ramos ruled the club. Harry has now played 3 U18s in consecutive UEFA Cup games. Juande took the Cup to seriously & while I applaud his desire to win, I have to say that he did at the detriment of the Premier League & I'm sure the players found that as frustrating & confounding as the rest of us.

While Harry is hardly taking a light-hearted approach, he is capable of standing back to see the bigger picture & I'm sure that will benefit the club in times to come.

P.S. Congratulations to Jonathan Obika & Ryan Mason for their Spurs debuts! It's great to see 2 young Enfield boys coming thru the ranks!

      King and Bongani,
      King and Bongani bong!!
      (watch out here they come!)

Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!

      Rafael, Van Der Vaart
      ƒuck Chelsea & Frank Lampard
with a nick-nack paddywhack he'll be getting goals
when Lampard's too fat & old

thanks - have corrected - wrote it quickly from memory.

      i'm sure they'd be a few extra..

like at what point each player turned on Ramos - but we do know it happened..

Anyone heard this rumour before. I picked it up a few weeks ago but thought it too far fetched but having heard some stories about Ramos, it could be true.
Apparently, players with long term injuries were not allowed to use the training ground or medical, physio, facilities, as it could effect the mental attitude of the rest of the Squad.
Rumour went that Ramos approached the Scum for the use of their facilities for our injuried players.

the club was going backwards and very quickly, the board had to make a decision and they made the right one by bringing in arry................god knows where we would have been if ramos was still incharge
