Hutton out injured???? Should Harry buy a new back?

Just read on the Prem League homepage that Hutton's injury will definitely put him out for a few months. What are we going to do at the back now? It seems we finally got things dialed in back there! Does anyone think that Harry needs to buy a new back in case Hutton will have to stay out for longer then predicted? OR if not, who could be a regular to fill that role from the roster we already have? Please don't tell me that we should keep BAE anywhere near the playing field in either of the two back roles. We can get (and deserve) better then that fellas, don't you think?

Corluka is class in RB, if he cant play just put zokora there. bale LB and BAE isnt bad.

Zokora has done so well for us, he has been invaluable in a good many matches, but let's buy!!! We have the cash, we're a huge club with tons of cash and an immense history... Why should we have anything to do with a guy (BAE) who wants to go back to France? And I feel like Zokora's use may have run its course. Anyone agree??? Or am I just a jerk?

Anderton has a good point, it's got to be Corluka and Bale, but Bale is constantly hurt. What about giving Gunter another chance to play with Corluka King and Woodgate, or is he too young and soft at the moment? Or maybe recalling Rocha? Or, let's buy.

Good to see that Modric might be bouncing back sooner then expected by the way.

Bad news and right out of the blue - I had no idea he was even injured !!

Bale natural replacement but I like this Gunter lad, think he needs a chance instead of Ekotto.

I suppose if we do get desperate we do have the option of bringing in Stalteri and Rocha.
But yeah i'm all up for giving Gunter a shot, i can't remember him having any bad games when he's been playing.

Bale can't even play left back at the moment, never mind right!

Corluka all the way for me. He has impressed me hugely as you will no doubt seen from my match reports.

Trouble is, Corluka is cup-tied in Europe so tonight's game will give us a very good indication of what may come to pass.

I think we are actually very short of quality in the full back positions at the moment. Hutton out, possibly for the season. Gunther inexperienced. Bale playing complete garbage. BAE - can't believe I'm saying this - playing better than Bale, and I've never rated him.

Only leaves Corluka.

agree totally i think we have right back covered in corluka, gunter and zokora can fill in there. gunter may start at RB tonight i hope so

Bale does not play well at the back. Gunter may be inexperienced but he is a good player and he will only get experience by being played. Gunter at LB and Corluka at RB domestically, draft Zokora in at RB for UEFA cup cos Corluka can't play.

Why buy more RB's when we have youth and alternatives?!?!! Let's use the money where needed (striker/ forward and left mid)...

As much as I like Bale he is yet to show his quality that he did when he first arrived and what he shows for Wales and I think Harry will encourage him next few months!!! This is the times of the year that you need a squad working for each other whilst people get injured and I think Zakora, BAE, Gunter and Corluka are more than able to step up to the mark!!!!

i should'nt think so we have back up players to come in until he's fit again......gunter,corluka or young adam smith could fill in
