I can see why you were so happy to get rid of him. When we first signed him I thought that he could be the attacking minded full-back that we very much lacked all last season. He started off shakey against Liverpool, then never played against Spurs and there were rumours that he had fallen out with Keane already.
He then came back into the team and played well against Arsenal, Newcastle and Fulham. Then we took a tanking off Chelsea and while 5-0 down he was having a good laugh with one of their players on the goal line. I have never wanted to get on the pitch and strangle one of my own teams players before, but I wanted to do it then.
Now, he hasn't been on the team-sheet for weeks amid more rumours that he has fallen out with Keane, he was seen partying at 3 in the morning the night before a game too.
All in all I have been very disappointed with Pascal so far, you must be dancing because you got rid of him, hopefully he will keep his head down from now on and force his way back into the team.
Chimbonda will never reach his potenial because his very poor attitude, it is a shame as he could have been very good. I cant see Roy Keane keeping hold of him for much longer.
Get rid of Chimbonda, watch how quickly he wants to leave, and then bring in someone who wants to play. You got a lot of 50/50 players from us, but I was very surprised to see Keane go for Chimbonda, a bad move on his part which I'm sure he is now having regrets about.
Its a learning curve for Roy and a bundle of readies for us
He as others have said had/has the potential to be a Man U / Chelsea caliber player with his ability on his day, but he lacks the professionalism to achieve that potential.
He is a merc and only interested is his own game his own money and only himself.
Extreemly good riddance as the bad very much out weighs the good.
CHIN UP!!!
i personaly like chimbonda and always have yes he wound me up but he is good in the air and likes to get forward , i was raging when you guys took malbranque and i wasnt that keen on chimbonda leaving either .

Anyway, I was surprised that you sold Steed to us, he has been nothing short of fantastic since he came here, I believe he has the second highest assist rate in the Premier League this season. So thankyou for that!
It's been hard keeping Tainio fit.
I was pissed whenever Tainio and Steed left, but there would have been not playing time for them especially with our new midfield.
Tanio would have had a few games under Arry IMO. He tackles hard and works his nuts off!!!
Shame he and steed had to go. Would liked to have seen Steed try to recapture his CM form that he had at Fulham.
tainio would have been a good man to throw on if we were 1 up with 10 mins to go and as for steed id have loved to have seen him givin a go in his natural role but if fat tommy can keep it up and modric keeps his form after his injury then ill be happy!
Good job I didn't get Malbranque on the back of my Spurs shirt![]()
