Our penalty hero from the 1984 UEFA cup victory against Anderlecht, Tony Parks, may be about to return to the club to help train our goalkeepers.
Tony is a local boy, born in Hackney, and is yet another Spurs fan on the staff. It is obviously Harry's plan to fill the club with the passion only true supporters can provide and let's all hope that this can be transferred to the players on the pitch.
Tony is a true hero of the Lane and I'm sure that he will be welcomed back by us all with open arms. I just hope that he is the right man to get Gomes thru this sticky patch & finally get the best out of him!

Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble

So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!

Tony is a legend. I still remember hitting the ceiling (quite literally) when he made the save to win the UEFA Cup. If he has the coaching qualifications I am sure he will do a great job!
i love what harry is doing with the club bringing the club back to its roots and filling it full of staff who love the club ........ this is bound to rub of on the team , and who can compete with that ?
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and foremost about winning. It's nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It's about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom."
-Danny Blanchflower
Isn't this just luverly news. Cheers Arry![]()
nice to see tony has finally put away the black balaclava and gloves and dedicated his life to spurs again, ( older spurs will know what i mean)
i was at the game, what an atmosphere , i met a guy on the night who remained a friend till he died a few years ago, i missed my train home and was wandering about the lane, this guy asked me to a party and became a life long friend, im god father to his son who was born 6 months later and is called sol, (years before judas came on the scene )
great memories of a great night and a great bloke who not only put me up for the night, but became one of my closest friends
Was at the game also, great memories of winning the cup, but nothing quite like yours Grimsby. What a great story.![]()
