Dear ‘Gus in the UK’
I can assure you that we, as a design team, are entirely aware of the importance of stadium atmosphere. In technical terms this depends on a whole host of criteria, from sight-lines to materials choices, to acoustic criteria to spectator facilities… and all of these need to be considered together in order to generate the ‘right’ atmosphere. We will do our utmost as the design progresses to make sure that the needs and concerns of spectators are considered throughout.
Thanks for taking the trouble to e-mail
Ps would you like a stand named after you.
Ok .....I lied about the last bit......I just thought I would share the reply with other interested Yids

good work mate!
Yeah I got one about my contribution too!!!
I also sent an email to the board of Tottenham Hotspur who obviously passed it on to their project team. They replied to me in person and her's what they said:
Thank you for your recent comments on the Northumberland Development Project. We have had a tremendous response to the initial consultation and we really appreciate you taking the time to let us have your views.
You asked a specific question about the atmosphere in the new Stadium. I wanted to re-assure you that the number one brief to our stadium architects is exactly this – to retain the fantastic atmosphere at Spurs. This means ensuring seats are close to the pitch, with quite high banking and un-restricted views for every spectator.
We have looked at and learned lessons from stadia around the world and will provide more details specifically about the stadium design at our next exhibition early next year.
With regards,
The Northumberland Development Project team
Notice their agreement with 2 of the points that we raised within the other thread, seating as close the pitch as possible & steep stands with unrestricted views.

this is great news bc i was worred that our new stadium would be somewhat like that piece of crap down the road does anyone know when they will begin construction?
Probably not for a couple years yet. They've got to produce a proper design 1st. What's pretty cool is we're all gonna get the opportunity to see the final design & comment on it before any construction actually starts & from what I've seen so far, I've every reason to believe they will listen to what we have to say.

They asked me if I wanted a few games too??? Said it wouldnt be fair on the rest of the lads me just rocking up and smashing the granny out of it, then leaving them to play without me the next week or two.
I will ask about the box 4 you lads but I got my seat next to Arry as he apparently could do with my advice again.
Reckon they would fly me over from Australia to see the grand opening game?
I think we may just be getting a little bit carried away here!
Seriously tho, in the last few months I've been really impressed with our club's willingness and ability to communicate with us fans. I really do wonder whether those gooner fools were offered such input when designing the Emirates?
Actually, they probably were hence it being so sh*t.
