Not particularly good news for Spurs. Modric is out for 2 weeks with a partially torn groin muscle sustained in the Fulham loss. Anyone who's ever had this injury knows how much it sucks!
Nevertheless, it could have been much worse. Here's to a speedy recovery and hopes Modric makes it back to the pitch as soon as possible. We need his play making abilities and creativity in the midfield.
How do you guys feel this will affect Harry's tactics? Does he go back to the traditional 4-4-2 with Modric out, having two up front?

Just read this... this is going to make us much weaker in midfield so we are going to have to pull up our socks and work like crazy to keep position in the upper half of midfield.
Who will be playing for Modric then?
2 weeks isnt that bad and although he has been our best player we can manage without him.

You are right Nick. Two weeks isn't all that tough, especially considering the injury. We just have to make extra certain that we are playing top quality football. Modric has been a huge part of the great run we had over the past few weeks. Whoever steps in his place has some big shoes to fill. I have no doubt that we will manage, but the boys better not leave anything to chance!
Such a shame for the lad as hes been on fire since Harry arrived, id like to see 4-4-2 now while hes out for a couple of weeks.
F*ck Stratford!!!!
yeah i'd like pavlyuchenko and bent to be playing up top with a 4 man midfield of Bentley, Hudd and Jenas/Zokora/O'Hara.
We need a real LM
As you all say gutted, but there is a silverlining here, we switch to a 442 and Pav gets to show what he's all about in a partnership that I think is understated in the Prem - this could frighten a few teams...
Harry Hotspur, Harry Houdini or Harry Happy... I call him Harry Hallilulia..!
This is terible news. I can say that ever sence he left Dinamo Zagreb squad...they hawent played to 40% of last years performances...bought some guys(3 of them)to try and replace him, but OFC theres no player that can replace Luka.
Hope Tottenham can rise and manage without him better than Dinamo, couse if they cant then its sh.it load of trouble
Typical - there he was just getting in his stride and starting to play, now we will have to hear the sob stories of how hes not really match fit yet when he returns. These modern footballers really are pussies.
Still we've got the rejuvenated HUDD !!
COYS!
Big shame for us and for him, but he will be fresh when he comes back and rip Manc U a new one!!!
COYS!!!
