Frazier Campbell insists he does not regret turning down a move to Hull this summer and is determined to prove he made the right decision by being a success at Spurs.
The 21-year-old turned down the chance to sign for the Tigers’ permanently in the summer after his 15 goals helped fire them to the Barclays Premier League while on loan at the KC Stadium last season.
Campbell has since found himself at Tottenham on another season-long loan as part of the deal that took Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United, while Hull have taken the league by storm.
And despite finding it difficult to get a run in a Spurs side that was struggling, he insists he does not look back on what might have been.
He said: 'I’m happy with choice that I made and I have to make sure that I’m successful for Spurs now because that’s my job. The manager has said he will give me a chance and when he does I am determined to take it.
'I do think about Hull sometimes and think what might have been but there is no room for sentiment in football.
'I didn’t think that they would be doing as well as they have done and maybe they have surprised me along with everyone else, but fair play to them because they have some good players there.
'But I had a chance to go back to Manchester United, who I have played for and support and I wouldn’t have forgiven myself for turning that down.'
Harry Redknapp’s introduction as Tottenham manager seems to have galvanised the struggling outfit, who are still unbeaten under him.
The canny manager helped to bring through players like Joe Cole, Rio Ferdinand and Frank Lampard while at West Ham.
And the England Under 21 international hopes that Redknapp can have a similar influence on the careers of a Spurs’ team based mostly on young English talent.
He added: 'He’s had experience of bringing young players through before at West Ham and I’m hoping that he can bring me along and make me a Premier League striker.
'I want to get a few more games under my belt now and show him what I can do. I’ve had to be patient but I’ve not been disrespectful to my team-mates and complained.'
After playing for Hull, Manchester United and now Tottenham, the Huddersfield-born striker admits he loves life in London.
He added: 'It’s like a real adventure for me down here. I go around and see the sights and I went to Harrods the other day, so I’m really enjoying it.'

I hope he stays
I hope we buy him at the end of the season, but knowing United, they'll tell us to **** off.
Or charge us £30 mil![]()
"It's no use just winning, we've got to win well."
He will go back a better player, and not become a Yid unless he wants to slap in a transfer request himself.
would be a good move for him to leave united as he will not get a chance to realise his potential sitting warming the bench , he looks like the real deal to me though .
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and foremost about winning. It's nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It's about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom."

Like bazza says he will be on the bench, if Tevez can barely get games then Campbell will have no chance whatsoever!
I would like to see him in a lily white top full time!!
there is a lot more to this story looks a great prospect will get more chances in europe
If he's after regular first team action, he will stay or attempt to stay with us
Does anyone really believe he had a choice ? Ferguson will have had 100% control over where he went and Campbell will have been told to do as he's told. And it's almost impossible for him to become a Spurs player full time, the better he does the more likely he is to go back and be in their squad/team next season. Even if he turns around and says "I want to stay" Manure will take us to the cleaners with the price, as they're still smarting from the Carrick & Berbatov deals. I hope the boy does well for us, and he looks a good prospect, but lets not get carried away after one game against Liverpool's stiffs, and remember we're helping MU as much as ourselves here by developing him as a Prem class player.
