Who do you want in the 1/4 final?

Out of the 7 other teams remaining, who do you hope we meet in the quarter-final?

I think we can beat them all at home so Id fancy our chances against any of them. I would like to avoid arsenal and man u because it would make a good semi or final against either so any other than them to but most importantly.....at home.

i went for Stoke, just because we lost against them, be nice to prove we aren't that bad.

i voted for Manchester United for two reasons. The first is that it would be great to win the Carling Cup again knowing that we'd taken out both Liverpool & United & Arsenal. I don't want Arsenal in the final, I especially want them in the Semis again, partly because of last year but also because the Semis are the worst time to go out. However, then i thought that if we take out Man U in the quarters & Arsenal in the Semis then the final itself might not be such a great occasion.

However the second reason, having reassessed that again, Man U are likely to field a weaker side in the quarters than in the final so now would be the ideal time to meet them in that sense. Also, you could argue that the final might even be a greater occasion if Stoke, Blackburn or, better still, a Championship side reach it (like with Cardiff in the FA Cup.

Went for Watford aswell. Don't really care either, like everyone else I believe we can beat any of them! It would be nice to put the scum out again, but we can do that in the semi's, we get the chance to beat them twice then over the two legs.

As we've all said already, meeting Arsenal in the semis would be our preferred fixture. However I would not be averse to the following situation:

Burnley get Arsenal in the semis & put them out to meet us in the final where we promptly thrash them 6 - 0. That way we get the pleasure of seeing Arsenal go out in the semis to a team we beat but the added bonus of their, and Chelsea's, humiliation of losing to Burnley, a team we then thrash. That's a lot of if's & but's, it would be good tho.
