Whatever happened to...

I was talking to a couple of mates yesterday and the name Vinny Samways came up. Does any one know whatever happened to him?

I think he went back to Spain, where he drank to much sangria and turned into a bit of a hard man. I remeber hearing he got sent off quite a bit when playing over there.
Samways a hard man? I know very hard to believe.

He did really well in Spain, it suited his game style... didn't come back for Everton before returning/ retiring in Spain/ Las Palmas??

We sold him to Everton, and then he joined Las Palmas. Oddly enough he played for Sevilla as well a year or two before Ramos took over there.

I imagine he's long retired now...

Good Morning, Samways picked up a reputation in Spain because
he got eight red cards and 38 yellows in his first three seasons...
Came back here to play for Walsall, then finished his career at a
lower league Spanish side.
