Picked this up on Newsnow.co.uk, thought it would be intresting to see what everyone's view of it were.
As you all know we haven't had the best of times at the Lane recently, but since the arrival of 'Arry Redknapp, the whole place has taken on a new vitality from the dressing room to the fan forums.
I was on my fan forums, I use two forums, and you should have seen the sites on the Gooner draw (Bentley had an amazing goal against them lot up the Seven Sisters Road) and the Liverpool win—the picture used on this 'ere report. Just amazing.
There, however are a few things to ask yourselves about my beloved club.
1. Why was Ramos taken in the first place?
2. What the hell happened with the Keano sale? (This one I was upset with, as Keano was my fave player)
3. Is it a weird coincidence that both Jol at Hamburg and Ramos' old teams are doing better since they arrived/left the EPL?
It's a wonderful feeling that the team is back and doing what they do best, scaring the hell out of the opposition.
We have our Tottenham back!
Through thick and thin, I will be a lillywhite watching my team, even though I have wanted to kick a few players up the behind before now!
Let's hope we can keep it going!
Has unbelievable tekkers....
Well, we took Ramos because we hoped he'd be our Mourinho. We desperately wanted silverware &, as good as MJ had done at getting us 2 5th place finishes, he hadn't won us anything & was now in the relegation zone. Levy has never been one to hang around & see what happens & felt it necessary to take action while he still could. Ramos had had 2 successive UEFA cup wins as well as breaking up Real & Barca's league dominance at Sevilla & even beat Spurs in the semi-final on the way to one of those UEFA wins. It was that record that enticed Levy to make the decision that here was a manager who wins things & that's what we needed. Ramos came, got us out of relegation & won us the CC & everything looked Rosey.
What happened next is all a bit weird. Juande had been essentially working with Jol's team & wanted to stamp his own presence upon it. However, it was already going wrong before all that.
I think communication was obviously a massive problem. While it was all working & the players had confidence, everything was OK but as soon as things went against us, Juande did not possess the necessary language skills to encourage everyone or convey to them EXACTLY what he wanted from them. I guess that was what Poyet was for but if you are a player & you see a number 2 giving you all your instruction, it would hardly breed confidence.
However, his decisions over & after the summer just got stranger. Playing players needlessly out of position, dropping players & ignoring them because he didn't want them, using the wrong players in the wrong competitions. He completely lost it. This is my theory as to what was happening behind the scenes:
You can level some of the blame at the players but I can understand why they dropped form, I can't understand why Juande did. Not giving players squad numbers is just plain ridiculous, whether you think they are good enough or not. You have to use what you've got at your disposal & it is so clear that there is something deeper going on here.
I think that a divide had grown between the directors & the management. Juande wanted to sell Rocha, Boateng, Ghaly, etc but it has been implied that Commoli blocked their moves out of the club. If that's true then Juande's actions make a little more sense but are equally ridiculous for a supposed manager. He obviously refused the players squad numbers in protest to Commoli's refusal to sell. These were all Commoli's buys after all. I'm sorry but that is just so juvenile & not only hurt the players involved & their careers but the club. I believe that it was possibly that along with the sales of Berba & KLeane that created a rift between Commoli & Ramos that made Ramos question how happy he was at Spurs & may go some way to explaining his attitude. He also wanted Diego Capel from Sevilla but Commoli (or maybe Levy) got him David Bentley instead. I think that might be why he kept playing Bentley down the left instead of his favoured right, to kind of prove a point. It all sounds so childish but after Poyet's recent comments I'm beginning to see that that was how the old regime worked. Bentley obviously did not like what was going on & ended up complaining & got dropped as a result.
King and Bongani,
King and Bongani bong!!
(watch out here they come!)
Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!
Rafael, Van Der Vaart
ƒuck Chelsea & Frank Lampard
with a nick-nack paddywhack he'll be getting goals
when Lampard's too fat & old

I wonder too, what the hell happened with the Keano sale?2. What the hell happened with the Keano sale? (This one I was upset with, as Keano was my fave player)
I'm sure its written in previous posts also, but i think this is the main reason why our start was that terrible. If the 2 top strikers of a team leave at the same time, near the end of the transfer season, what do you expect?
With Keane and Berbatov and Ramos in a sane state, this year we would be fighting for the premier league trophy. It was a critical turn in which i think Man U and Liverpoor took advantage of us, played the dirty way and left us a smaller team than we where before. And when your goal is to finish in top 4 (2 years in a row) finishing 5th the first one and winning the Carling Cup the next one, you should aim higher. The awful start we made this year, changed our goals to not relegating. But we must not forget where we want this club to go.
Harry is great, but is he the man for something like this? Ramos, according to his success, was the one, but he failed. We need to find our man, and aim high again. We need to take lessons from this year and from the cooperation with guys like Ramos (famous, but unknown at the same time...)
