This is going to be a tough game, i think it will be more like the last game, with Liverpool having the majority of the ball, as they will be defo up for it after last weeks game against them.
No prediction as I can see Liverpool winning this one, the premiership is more important at the moment.
a lot depends on wat sort of team rafa decides to put out but i can def see us having to face torres this time round to get his fitness up and he wont squander to many chances....will be a tight one to call tho extra time maybe!
If I was redknapp, I'd put a lesser side out, firstly in maintaining our run in the prem, and secondly to give players like Bostock more opportunities. If we get hammered, which i can imagine we will, the burden of breaking a good run won't be on some of the players we need fit for the premiership.
I reckon rest ledley, woodgate and corluka. give some younger players a run out. maybe bring boateng back in?

I know we're battling with Europe and the Prem right now, but it's the Carling Cup shouldn't we defend it? Don't want to make it entirely a reserve match right? Well, I guess it's not the FA Cup. Unfortunate that we drew Liverpool though, it'd be cool if we could sneak past them and then draw some easier club next. Wishful thinking I guess. I think this lineup could really do well though. Correct me if I've made a mistake with Rocha's positioning, it's been so long since we've seen him.

I dont think so in the last match liverpool thaught that we where pushovers and thay will put there best side against us that includes a return for torres,gerrard,kuyt and so on 2-0 liverpool

I don't think Liverpool will field their strongest side, they have bigger fish to fry. The big question for me is will Harry put out our strongest side? How important does he see the Carling cup for us this year? Probably a bit more so because we are the holders, but he may feel differently.
I also think we may not field the strongest team, he has said all along that points are a priority at the moment, tend to agree however if that was the case he would of fielded a weak side last thursday so its hard to tell
Has unbelievable tekkers....
However if we cannot win a cup, we will not play in Europe next year...
