k guys we're all on cloud 9 at the minute due to our unbelievable turn around and the amazing results we have had in the past couple of weeks but does anyone else agree that now that the redknapp novelty is starting to wear off a bit that now we need to knuckle down and keep the momentum going? now before u all start with the abuse hear me out..... how often in the past have we got decent results against the better teams yet wen it came to the lesser clubs we have blown it? im nervous about the fulham game now cause its the type of game in the past where we would have dropped silly points! keep it up harry we're only 9 points from champions league spot![]()
i hear what your saying mate !!! i to would normally be slightly nervous about a lesser team off the back a of a good win but i have every faith that harry will also see this trend and will be sure to counter this problem . having complete faith in a manager is a wonderful thing and its a long time since any spurs supporter could honestly say that .
0 - 3 win to the spurs i reckon .
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and foremost about winning. It's nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It's about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom."
-Danny Blanchflower
yep - you can see the guys are much happier but as long as this doesn't turn into cockiness we'll be fine.
arry will be the first to say that every game is a potential move up the table ,possibly by a long way, if the other results go our way as well.
i was just about to post here that looking at the atbel there's a lot of teams above us that realistically we would look to be ahead of come the end of the season....it's a long road and i can't really see hull lasting it out, spammers, portsmouth without arry, middlesborough, stoke, fulham, the list goes on.
so keep the pressure on guys, earn your money, - and i'm away to stick a bet on spurs in the top 6 by the end of the season what odds do you reckon??
I can understand your point of view mate, but this is a different spurs we are looking at than the one last year. (wheer we would get results from good teams and drop silly points from the worser teams).
We all know as spurs fans we do not belong where we are in the table with the effective we have.
Think about it, what if we had harry at start of the league?
All im saying as that, i really dont think we have to worry about "smalelr clubs" now.
Most teams will play spurs and will be nervous now!!!
Coooome oooon yoooou spuuuurs, cooome ooon yooou spuuurs.
I think we are playing well now and picking up vital points, but agree that we won't win every game and that the real test will be how we react to a defeat by a lesser club. I am sure they will be fine. Just hope that defeat don't come too soon. It is great looking at the top half and working out who we could finish above. All the p*ss taking we had to endure a few weeks back is gonna come back to haunt a few I can tell you!!
ur right mate...i dont mean to be peesimistic but usually wen things sre goin reall well for us a kick in the nuts isnt too far round the corner lol im actually tryin to stop myself thinking about uefa cup places in the league but with villa on a bad run and us only 8 points behind anythings possible!
It's in our nature to be pessimistic, but that's obviously because of all the false dawns we have witnessed!! Although we are always totally behind the team, it is up to them to change our way of thinking!

guys wed is a big game beat the pool and we could be on this rollercoaster for a while
we now have the chance to progress with thwe next couple of fixtures
Lets hope so, I think I could get used to it.![]()
Spot on me old china.
We have knucled down and had some fantastic results against the leagues "big boys".
We now have a run of games against "lesser teams" and we need to capitalise on the momentum we have built up and show that the last month or so wasnt a fluke and that we havent overachieved and this is the standard we are at.
COYS.
looks like my fears were well founded lol typical!!!
I thought we beat Bolton which when i last checked wasnt a top four side?
As for the Fulham game well we have the great Gomes to thank for that loss!
F*ck Stratford!!!!
bolton was only the start of our mini revival!!!! blame whoever u like it was still a rubbish performance and a big let down!
