To defend Spurs against whatever your mates etc say? Last night, about 10 of us after leaving the pub, and slightly drunk it has to be said, had a bit of a ''discussion'' about our clubs, which incidently include Chelsea, Man Utd, Newcastle, Arsenal and 1 West Ham fan.

Nothing too agressive about it all, but it was laughable for them to try and mock Spurs for this, that and the other, amazingly more so coming from a West Ham and 2 Newcastle fans.

I'll never let anyone put my team down, we're unique unlike the rest, there's only one Hotspur!

Mate living in scotland everyone has a dig at spurs and i do my everything to defend the great Tottenham Hotspurs Newcastle fans try to take digs at me 2 i jus laff and ask last time they won a trouphy :P With Chelski fans i just bring up the Cluj incident :P Mancs I just use Pedros Goal that wasnt cuz they cant cumback ti that or the fact they need to take players like Carrick and berba to keep us away from them And now with the Gonners its just a hint at 5-1 or 4-4

Lol... I work and play basketball with Goooners fans and where I can I hold my head high and acknowledge that they 'can' play good football, BUT, when it comes to Goooners saying the same (the other way round) it comes through gritted teath!!!

Why can't they just be honest... Ahhhhhg!!! I do, however, enjoy 'rubbing' salt into their open wound... However, whilst I acknowledge the 'previous' poor football we played... I do shout about Spurs when I walk into a meeting................. It's also great having a Watford supporter in work too

I have mates that give me stick also, Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea,Liverpool and even Newcastle

For Arsenal I just say we were originally in North London, dont cheat our way through every game and dont have a manager that sees every foul against and doesnt see a thing when the situations reversed!

For Man Utd I say bout the Berbatov and Carrick situation and at least we have supporters from our own city and i even mention how we played them off the park 2 games last year, shud of had at least 2 pens to win at Old Trafford and they got a lucky one in the last minute at WHL

For Chelsea...well they have no history, they have only won the league once more than us and if it wasnt for a sugar daddy they wud still be lingering in 5th and 6th place.

For Newcastle...well they have nothing to shout about...a so-called big club with nothing to show for it!

For Liverpool...the most boring defensive team ive seen in a wile aswell as £20 mill for Keane to score what is it 3 or 4 goals?

i love nothing more than a good ribbing from other fans having a go at other clubs and thy having a go at us is half the fun , i have been quite muted this last while back this will change though with our current run of form ......... take the rip out of them at every opportunity they deserve it .

Ok I live in Switzerland so I would be lucky if any knew anything about english clubs apart from the so called top 4...
BUT, I had a mate who supported west ham when he lived here, and no matter what he said about spurs in ny negatif sort of way, i gave him a dead leg/arm in the same day.
I know we aint out of the blue yet, but our rescent form, the results from top 3 clubs so far, should shut some of them morons up

I'd have to say this is the only way to defend Spurs! I get stick all the time from family members. But being a student of history, I just use Spurs very illustrious history in my favor, especially with the bro-in-law, who's an avid Chelski nut. That club has zero history, IMO and even when things aren't looking good for Spurs in the present, the past was always fairly bright, at least when compared to chelski!

All day i`ve had to listen to gloating gooners about how great their kids are i made 2 points. 1. The so called wonder kids were going to win it last season so what happened 2. If they`re that good why didn`t they play them a week last Wednesday when they`re 1st team could`nt handle us exit the no longer gloating gooners
