I know this sounds strange but Bent is fairly one dimensional in the sense he's a goal poacher. Obviously that is all great at present because he's done well so far this season, but for me it's not enough.

I just wish he could hold the ball up better and link up more effectively with midfielder. It puts so much pressure on the other 9-10 men behind him when he goes missing and then we concede.

It's hard to knock him at the minute granted but if he could just gel more with the rest of the team i'd be happy.

Saying that if we find another striker to play off him then we'd be sorted.

He is awesome! He was banging them in pre-season and most of the time when he gets a game he gets on the scoresheet.

Haha, I guess it is a tad obvious that I am used to watching Inverness CT every week. If a striker is putting the ball in the net thats good for me.

yeah, think hes finally hitting form. amaizing what a good manager can do for a players moral. lets hope that pav can hit the same form and well be sorted

Yeah but he's not going to scored every game so it's important that during the games he doesn't he can still contribute positively. He is our first line of defense after all.

Go Bent GOOOO!! He's been fantastic these last 5 or 6 matches!! A lot of the previous goals had been vulture like efforts (taps in a rebound etc)... But man, these have been very very very strong powerful goals!! I'm behind him now baby!!!!

was lucky enough to see the match live here on tv. I thought Bent had a super game. Modric and Lennon also played very well. Huddlestones goal was a cracker. I can only remember Gomes having to make one save all evening.
