He's tried so many different team combinations its ridiculous. But its just not working for him.
Wonder why the 'if you're ramos what do you do' threads are popping up? Its because there's not much you can do. And there's not much another manager could do in this situation.
If you think a new manager will come in and turn the fortunes around with this lot in these times, you should help depressed people.
He created the mess in the first place so he deserves all the criticism. But he also deserves the chance to sort it out in january. Hopefully he'll do that earlier.![]()
I agree. But whether a new bloke coming in now will help is debatable.
The only way it will get worse is if in Jan a whole heap of transfer requests go in.
Then we are up that creak even further without poxy arms let alone no paddle.
I just want to win football matches and be able to wear my Spurs top with pride again.
If thats with Ramos then great but if not..............I donk care as long as we start winning again.
I reckon Stokes the new beginning !! I can see us romping it and kick starting a good run
At least thats what I dreamt last night !!
when we lose to stoke then i hope he gets sacked.
stoke are gonna beat us.. its obvious.
i dont have any faith in ramos anymore.
Ramos f***ed up selling Dracula and Keano.
Arsene Knows.
Ramos' record isn't easy on the eye, since the Carlin Cup I don't think you have won many games, but what do you think should happen? Should he be sacked or should he stay on? What positions need strengthened in January?
I've been away from the forums a bit to keep myself from losing my mind over our current form...
Ramos needs to simply find his best 11 and play them. These insane permutations of our lineup every week make it hard to find any sort of consistency.
Ramos is not worthy of being sacked yet - the next manager in that scenario would have the same problems Ramos has had (lack of strikers who can slot home some goals). I highly doubt there's anyone out there **RIGHT NOW** who would be able to take the job, come in, and do a better job with the current talent.
Juande, if you are reading this... PICK YOUR TEAM AND COACH THEM UP!
The beauty is in the simplicity.
Supporting Spurs from lovely YIDDO-SOTA!

Ramos has not gotten it done. I think the references to the suspect substitutions, the questionable strategy, all of this points to the fact that he can't make it work. I am sure he is a good coach, but not in this situation.
OK i have a question for everyone.. if we lose against stoke then do you all want ramos gone?
i sure as hell do.
In my opinion, i would think ramos should be judged after he has the total control in bringing players in this coming january. We might not score goals, but hope he could manage draws along the way to buy himself more time and achieve great stuffs for our club.

I am so depressed with our situation that I dont watch sport on TV and dont read the newspapers. I feel that Ramos needs to go and we need to bring in Johann Cruyff whatever he costs.

it's in spanish so I'll try and translate so everyone can read
My thoughts: first of all what's this project that they keep talking about? Drive us to relegation? I sure haven't heard anything from Ramos himself...Football people ask for trust for Project Juande
The irregularity that Tottenham has shown in the start of the season has surrounded the normal activities of a club, which at the moment, is classified for the UEFA Group Stages, despite having only two points in the premiership. The critiques gathered by some football sections are centered in Juande Ramos. In spite of the manager showing in all of his statements the confidence he has in the team and the staff, in others football sections, it has also been argued the necesity to allow Juande materialize his project.
Between the voices that has been heard from England, the opinion from Spurs's ex-goalkeeper, Ray Clemence. In recent statements Clemence said about Juande "a manager's job in front of a team can only be judged at the end of the season. The most important thing is trust....there's been a hectic summer transfer window, but this is no excuse anymore...The only way out is to work hard and trust the team, as they've got quality. And this quality will be noticed with time".
Clemence has said, as well, that "Juande Ramos has already won a trophy, the Carling, and that's something that Spurs haven't gotten during many years". The exgoalkeeper notes that " this has not been a good start, but Ramos has an impressive curriculum, and if you ask me, all he needs its time. Give him time"
Also from Spain it's been analized the irregularity that Spurs have shown, the president of F.C. Barcelona, Joan Laporta, in an interview granted last sunday, 5, in a show from TVE "Club de Futbol", noted that "Juande is an excelent manager, and in this time it's when people have to believe in the project. He has quality, he's a working man, and he's honest, and things will get better for him with time". Laporta noted that Barcelona had, too, a very irregular start with Rikjaard in the bench, and compared the situation with the one that Juande is going through, "in moments of crisis, we have to resort to prudence and trust".
Juande Ramos has noted in numerous ocassions the strenght of the team and the excelent daily job that the team makes in the preparations sesions, yesterday, midfielder Didier Zokora agreed on this phrase of the union in the locker room with the spanish manager " when we win a match I'm sure trust will be back. I have never tought about dismissal it's imposible. There's a very good atmosphere in the locker room and we're united as a team".
Also, Spurs fans have backed their manager according to a poll published last munday in the digital edition of the prestigious newspaper "The Times". The english newspaper noted that 68% of Tottenham fans supports the work of Juande inside the entity of White Hart Lane. Those who were polled considered that Juande is the most qualified person to get the team out of the difficult situation that it's in
With the competitive stop due to the commitment of national selections Juande will work with a team with numerous absences, but the work will continue with the next encounter, october 15, before Stoke City.
Will continue later on my rambling as I need to take a break from all that typing!
