I see that not many people go to Internacional topic so i writed this here..I am Croatian so you probably know that i will comment how did Modric and Corluka played....I am more than glad to say that Modric was man of the match, he was our MAESTRO his control of ball, he was putting strikers in good position, his passion and runing just i was stuned, this is one of best games i saw from Modric and I saw many many....Corluka was also very good, he was like wall in defense no one couldn"t pass him, in air like supermanjust fantastic...I tought that they are going to be bad because not good games in Spurs but tonight i saw that it"s not that they are not ready or something, crappy results is something to blame on Ramos....So how did rest of our guys played tonight????????

Do or Die !
I have to agree.
Modric was playing once again realy good for Croatia vs Ukraine.
Maybe he just isn't ment to play in EPL? :/
It could be that physical aspect of premiership restricts him. But if Fabregas or Kranjcar can, so can Modric, he just needs to adapt his game. Release the ball sooner before challenge comes, rely more on one-two's rather than beating his man. But you also have to have teammates to help you play like that, it often seems that he is left to fight for himself.
How'd you get on lads?
You see we bagged another 5 against Khasicstahn or what ever they are called.
9 international goals in 2 games.
Great form and will inspire confidence throughout the team.
Notebly no Yids on the field at all![]()
Modric was excellent, for the billionth time in Croatia. I`m glad to see his confidence is not lost after poor games in Tottenham. Charlie was also great. In the first half he had more defensive role, but later had some good runs and was one of our better players.
All in all Croatia was the dominant team with great chances, we hit the crossbar and it was a shame we didn`t win. It is obvious Croatia and England are the best teams in this group and it will be a battle for first and second place between us, with England being in advantage. We have Andorra in Wednesday so I expect trashing. It was 7-0 two years ago.
Croatia still needs to beat ukraine at home. However I noted that england scored mostly goals from crosses or set pieces play. We'll see how they fare against more organised teams such as Ukraine or Belarus.
IMO Hesky is the focal point of our team at the minute.
I think Spurs should be out looking for that exact type of player.
Somone huge (not just big), fast, and willing to chuck their considrable weight around. Oh they need to be able to finish too.
This type of player is prety much undefendable and will hold up the play all day long linking our attacking welth in midfield with our flimsy strike force. I'd straigh swap Hesky for Barren Dent right now.
