Good Afternoon, not sure if Wenger works under a
sporting director. I know Portsmouth, Fulham etc
have tried it. Looking through the League table the
only definite ones (I think!) are Tottenham, Stoke,
Chelsea, Newcastle, West Ham...
No doubt someone will correct me...
portsmouth have tried it and rejected it ? fulham have tried itand rejected it ? why are spurs holding onto this system i dont believe it is the right system for the club , remember who pulled the strings when man utd grappled berbs off us fergie , who was there to pick him up from the airport ? fergie who is the most successful manager in british history ....... you know were im going with this .
tottenham need a good old fashioned british manager who will give the players a kick up th backside when lazy and has a good grasp of the english game ,
redknapp would be a great manager in the lane
oniell would sort us right out
continental systems /do not always work in the premiership , i believe we are shining eample of this .

I concur with what your saying Bazza.
I think Houdini would be a great addition but he isnt gonna leave Pompey unless we pay some rediculous dough for him and then it wouldnt be for the right reasons.
I am more than impressed with Roy Keane and I think I would settle for him gaining a few years experience with us before he takes the helm at OT. But again he is flying with the Saints and would be barmy to take the helm at WHL.
Who ever it is they need some balls to tell the chairman what they want without the interferance of a sporting director and have to be able to roll with the knockbacks as well as make decent business and footballing decisions.
think Madrid have one, IIRC.
