Ive always wondered after this start who was the crappest? Bill Nicholson without a doubt would be the best, but who is the worst in our history? Juande Ramos probably isnt the very worst, although he is heading that way....

I do believe he has a worse record than one C. Gross.

We have been so shockingly crap this season that on pure footballing terms you could make a case for Ramos as being the worst. However, in footballing terms I also remember that Peter Shreeve in his second stint sent out a side that was horrible - maybe hideous at times - to watch.

I would suggest also that Shreeve had far less to work with in those days though.

      Who knows?

I suppose you should go with statistics, but its hard not to be subjective. Actually, on both those counts, right now Ramos would be right up there!

George Graham's record was worse than Gross'.

I would say, Graham or Terry Neil.

TopSpurs have a detailed thing on the records of our managers...

Good Morning, on MOTD the other week they pointed out that
Ramos record was worse than Gross in the League.
Gross is vilified, but I think his record before and after Tottenham
speaks for itself, especially in recent times with Basel.
Have to say under Ramos at present we are as bad as I have
      ever seen us...
      Kindest Regards Slim.

Ramos is a good manage altough he was wrong in letting
Keane and Berbatov go.... thats the biggest mistake he made IMO.

never have i seen a manager to promise so much , and deliver so little . in my opinion ramos is 70% to blame for our positon with his team formations . if he only played a 4 4 2 formation with the players in their prefered positions then the results will come .

it is truely amazing that he does not realise this ?

ramos is not our worst manager but he not far off it giving the rsources at his disposal .

It has to be Terry Neill - not least because of his ARSEnal connections.

Wow Ramos is currently ranked 23rd worst manager out of 25. That is shocking.

I personally think ramos WANTS the sack , he gains 15 million quid can then bugger off back to spain and enjoy his food a little better, bentley right back?? what he going to do next , stick arron lennon in goal.. 4,4,2 and play the players in their best positions, and tell the strikers that the big white rectangle held together by netting is the thing to kick the ball ( the round thing ) at

      rant over

you cant compare a whole tottenham carrer with someone who is still ongoing. Ramos is the worst on record. but he is still in the job and might pull it all back. you never know.

but if we were to fire ramos now. he would leave with the record of "worst start in a million years" and thats how we would remember in.
