Who will actually sign for Spurs in Jan??

OK this is the scenario - it's January and Ramos is still in charge, he won't be sacked as its too expensive, and he won't quit as he is paid a fortune. We WILL have a couple of wins under our belt but still be in the bottom third of the league with an outside chance of relegation.

We desperately need a world class defensive mid and striker (absolute minimum), but who in their right mind would join us? Our start to this season has been a disaster on so many levels but I fear the worst impact will be on our future development. The big name players won't want to come to a club which is such a shambles and until we get the players we desperatly need we won't get any better.

Realistically, who would consider signing for Spurs in Jan?

Simple, anyone if we paid them enough. How many times have you heard top names saying all I want to do is play for (insert top 4 club here). Last one I heard was Robhino who was desperate to sign for the chavs until Man C waved more cash than them at him. He was so unaware of anything but the cash that at his first press conference he even said he was glad to be a Chelsea! Sorry to be cynical but money talks most.

corluka needs to be starting at CB every game, that way he and woody can get a good partnership going, that will help alot. we get hutton back soon (hopefully) so defense will be sorted

In our present situation, anyone with a pen and a pair of boots. If we carry on like this, who would want to play in the championship next season? Bottom 1/3 is not good enough either if we want to attract good tallent. :mad:
