hi guys
i have read the other posts and have to agree were in the brown stuff , but a lot of the blame has to go to the players admittidly ramos looks forlorn but the players have no drive / passion.
i think it goes to show how good keano and berba were for us not just in goals but in attitude , was our position of 5th place a but false because they scored so many goals covering the other cracks..?
ie jenas,lennon ,ekoto,
all we need is one player to take the team by the scruff of the neck and say it ain't good enough
how about defoe?
oh no he went too.............
oh yehh forgot about him
ramos / levy should have said ,berbas going and you will get your chance , obvioulsy we didn'tknow about keane going but berba was never in doubt......rubbish
well at the end of the day....
the Berba situation was impossible
we had no choice but to sell him
i have said countless times that i dont have an issue with us selling him, i do however have a massive issue with them not even attempting to get a striker of his caliber before the season re-started
Kean made his choice, and haddled himself well
its a shame, but im happy we granted him his wish
i dont think he would have spat his dummy out like berba, but the best of luck to him.......
his best years were and always will be, as a Yid....FACT
Buuuut....somebody said earlyer
dont forget good players dont get crap over night!!
JJ crowed 'we will beat arsenal' before the game at the lane last year, and the boy showed enough passion to walk out and find the net very quickly!
O'hara simply ozzes passion
and what he lacks in technical ability, he makes up for with grit and balls
Lennon is proveing exciteing when ever he gets on the pitch atm
and bale is still blinding, but is suffering from majour confidence issues
Woodgate is as tough as ever, and ledders...when fit....is still domanating the box....bar a few untidy errors, which are normaly sweept up bye woody
the core of this team is still there!!
and the new boys are a definate step up!!
its not the players that are the issue, its the fact we are well off the pace of play
we are slow, sloppy and lumbersom atm
there learning to play together, learning to adapt
we must have time......and allow for a new predator to arrive before we are guna see any majour changes...
berba and keane have left so theirs no need to continue talking about them everyday, we have to support our current p[laying staff, and stop slating them off
Cooooooome ooooooooon uuuuuuu spuuuuuuuurz
