I've gotta post this cos on yesterdays display I aint optimistic at all - what happens if the unthinkable happens ??
We wont be the first club thinking we are to good for the drop - or to big. I just cant figure out where the points are gonna come from, we couldnt beat anyone (maybe Newcastle) at the moment and we are way adrift already !!
Help me YIDS !! Make me believe !! is it Hull or bust ??
Its not Hull or bust by any means but I for one am not going to get on the 'too good to go down' wagon, current performances indicate we are more than capable of going down.
The only people who can help us believe though Mick are within the club, heres hoping!
The season is long. Very long. Don't be surprised to see an awesome run in the last 10 games. 2009 will be much better.
We may drop though. At the moment, Hull are looking great. Stoke ain't bad either and West Brom aren't horrendous either. Our problem will be too many draws. In the AFL (Australian Football League, which is a different sport) we award 4 points for a win and 2 for a draw. This 3 and 1 system definitely won't help us.
cheaper tickets next season!
Give a man a fire, he'll be warm for a night, set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life!
"It's no use just winning, we've got to win well."
Ok wer not too good for the drop but i think after a couple of wins and a few goals we will b back to our best![]()
This is depressing times
IF hull beat us then stoke beat us then ramos will have to go
the worrying thing is i actually think hull are probably gonna beat us. painfull.
Hull wont beat us if Ramos picks the best team and the players put everything into the gameI think we have a team that can do somthing!
Ramos's team selection has been rediculous so far, i know theres been a number of fresh faces at the club, but the players sitting on the bench on sunday would walk into any other club in the prem league bar the top 4 probably. Lennon has been the only major threat, attacking the defence yet starts on the bench, and dos santos has been class when he's come on yet again starts on the bench. When playing pompy who conceeded 10 goals in 2 games, why the hell are we playing with 1 striker, and especially when we're chasing the game, replace 1 striker for another. Ramos just doesn't seem to know what he's doing at the moment, should be playing the players who are performing well and let them gel rather than switching it around each week and giving other players a chance.
I agree with todoistodare, team selection has not been the sttrongest and if a team ships 10 goals in two games as Portsmouth had then you put on at least two strikers and hit them hard. I'm beginning to wonder is Ramos is attempting manegerial suicide? Has he had enough of the EPL?
Dark time for the Spurs
dark times indeed
i dotnt know how we are going to sort this!!
Ramos' s is makeing terrible, terrible choices, and the buck stops with him atm
i have to ask questions about fitness again, the rest of the league are moveing so much more than we are off the ball
the most worrieng thing is we are playing like a club who doesnt know how to play at this level, the movement terrible, the passing even worse!!
i have to wounder what the hell ramos is teaching them on the training ground!!
i mean, its evident he wasnts us to build from the back, pull players out of possotion from the midfield, and play possesion football antill we find a hole.....
problem is, nobodys moveing!!!
Jenas looked like a stick in the mud yesterday....being the captin aside....he did not do enough to stay on the pitch!
if he is acting as your play maker, but hes hardly moveing at all and loseing the ball you HAVE to take him, or you will create nothing.....it isnt great science!!
when Dawson is bounding foward from defense with the ball at his feet, and Jenas doesnt show this ONCE something is wrong and a sub must be made
JJ is a good player, and i think its just the jitters thats rolling through the whole side atm thats shaken him up............
but thats not good enough!! you must have a solution to your problems
so hears one Ramos....
Give woodgate the arm band and get Hutton back asap so Corluka can step in at center back
explain to JJ that he isnt cutting the cheese atm, and must consider his possition at the club and work harder in training....
and instead of playing Jenas play Modric or Dos santos as a spear head in front of Lennon Bentley on thw wings and Huddlestone holding in the middle....
Bent and Pav start every game upfront!!!
were not scoreing goals because we have one striker with no service!!!
we have problems at spurs right now
its mr ramos's job to sort it....and hes not!!
even worse, hes doing what most of the players on the pitch are doing.....
watching another goal go in, and watching another game lost

Where are those wins and goals going to come from? How do you know what your best is after the amount of changes made to the side? Tottenham are a joke at the moment and someone needs to get it sorted. Relegation is a dead cert if you carry on like this, but the talent is there to scrap away for a few points.
We`re deep in the mire i`m afraid Hull are coming to the Lane on the back of a terrific result at the Emirates and are as confident as you`d expect. Then theres us winless and clueless yep we`re in the s***
The key to your post was IF!!!
It hasnt happened yet and I have no reason to believe it will happen now. So that leads me to believe a confident, well organised, fighting, Hull side will teach us a small lesson in how to scap out points and they will get 3 from us.
Pesimistic, yet true.
For me if Levy doesnt act this week then surely Hull and Stoke are his last chances, 6 points from them or f*ck off back to Spain.
If we do go down then the board should be publicaly hung in Tottenham High Road, championship football is the end.
F*ck Stratford!!!!
