Ok then, so there are loads of shouts for Ramos to be culled and that he is inept.

But what is he supposed to do when he is given a pile of sh** to work with?

Berba, Keano and Defoe were nailed on guarantees for 50 goals a season but now that our illustrious chairman has swapped them for Pav and Bent, who to be honest, wouldnt get a game at any other top half club, Ramos is being blamed for it.

Ramos cant be judged till the end of the season, and even then he should only be judged on results after we give the January arrivals a time to bed in.

My only gripe is that we didnt start with Dos Santos or Lennon today. But then to be honest, Ive only ever seen Lennon set up one goal recently (or put in 1 cross if Im honest). Dos Santos looks the real deal though.

the only problem with ramos, is i think he doesnt get the physical side of the prem... we need some big bully players. lightweight people like modric are not suited to the prem. BUT was it ramos buying him or commoli?

The problem is we will be relegated if this dosnt improve drastically and very soon so giving him untill the end of the season could be to late.

His tactics are feeble, His team selections apaulling and his attitude isnt up to it. Today he should have got off his ass and showed his disapointment instead of sitting there doing nothing. His substituions were very poor and the fact he didnt change tactics and formation during the game is mind boggling.

The fact is we are better than we are showing, we are capable of beating at least one team we have played in the league so far but havn't. The teams failings are not purely his fault but He has more than shown He cannot get nothing from this team and does nothing to help...at all.

Agree with you 110% mate Lennon and Dos Santos should b starting. I dont see why they dont get played because everytime they play/come on off the bench they change the pace of the game compleatly and the defence of the opposition find it very heard to deal with both off them. Ramos must be not starting them for a reason :dontknow: I think he is still looking for his best team because we have a good squad of lads and its hard to pick the best 11. Cant wait for Hutton to come back living in Scotland ive saw alot off him and was so happy when we snaped him up in january just a shame he got injured as him and Bale are the best full backs we have and should both be in the starting 11 week in week out.

Totally agree we need physical but has TH been forgotten about?

There are major structural changes need to occur, this is what I think;

We have a captain who can only play 50% of the time and granted, when he is playing is still strong but you cant build a team around a part timer. Dawson is average which leaves Woody who I think is a very good defender

Requirements - At least 1 or ideally 2 big defenders

Midfield - JJ is too weak to run it and is not reliable enough. There is nobody that can scrap and deliver the killer ball such as Gerrard or Lampard. We have zero strength whatsover if TH is not playing. Finally Lennon needs canning as although he gets in some very good positions the boy just cannot put a ball in, its that simple.

Requirements - 1 scrapper and 1 with a vision

Upfront - Anyone got Roy Keane's number? See if he wants to buy 2 donkeys.

Requirements - 3 top quality strikers. Such as the 3 we just let go.

Commoli/Levy, you really are a pair of cun**.

While it may or may not be true, that Ramos had too little to do with this summer's transfers at the lane, his tactical ingame decisions have seemed if not inept then at the very least mysterious to me - this week's subsitutions vs. pompeys being neither the first nor the weirdest of these mysteries.

Ok, maybe Ramos cannot be blamed for the mindboggingly stupid 15m£ aquisition of yet another right winger, but he certainly can be blamed for keeping to play him when he clearly cannot deliver the goods just yet (God, I still hope Bentley comes around for us).

Arguably Ramos has the better seat when it comes to seing the player's form at training, but we can all see how well that's translated into pitch action as of late. Even the win against Wisla was less than brilliant after all.

I agree that it is too early to call for Ramos' resignation, but if our ambition is top 6 he has got to get that train running smoothly soon, and certainly before the January transfers have setteled in ...

i sorta agree with what your saying dos santos should be starting n lennon should be on the beens his right footed if bentley thinks his the new beckham why cant he play in the middle or along side lenny and the twat of a chairman should spend some of 60mill he sold are strickers for n buy vandavarrt (cant spell it ) and david villa

Unfortunatly we do need these players but just now we only have what weve got! I think what we have is a good squad but we just need them to stand up and be counted.

I was at WHL towards the end of last season and our own fans were chanting to Bent;

Whilst very funny, it does make you wonder if the rest of the players know how crap he is and therefore cant be bothered to waste their time putting it in for him as he will do nothing 99% of the time.

Just lets be honest here we`re bottom of the league due to poor tactics players not giving a toss and bad signings. I`m sorry but Ledleys been great but it`s time to let him go which other team would stand for such a situation like i say Ledders has been immense for us but enoughs enough. In January we wont get anyone decent due to our league position sorry i`m as pissed off as everyone as else but we can`t keep kidding ourselves Arshavin, Huntelaar they aint coming and Levy and Comolli know it

very true foghorn....all three points.
we arent gonna be able to buy well or sell well cuz of our position and player failures respectively
and its not all any one man's fault. the players individually have been poor. the manager and his staff have been really disappointing. we've heard rumors of the board intervening in managerial business(that can be disastarous can't it.....newcastle). and we might have been too impatient with martin jol; if the pundits saying this team is 'weaker' than last year's are to be believed than we've got to question the shopping from the money from berbatov: a player who was jol's find and ramos's treasure.
