Get behind the team

[Essex Spurs]

Over the past few weeks I've been reading the threads and I am amazed at how fickle we've been. We must be a laughing stock to any one who looks at our forum who supports another team. All we seam to be doing is ****ging our spurs off. O.K. we may not be doing as well as we would have hoped but look at what has happened to us over the summer. We all have our fall guys who we wish to vent our anger on (mine is Comolli) but if I was a player reading this forum, what incentive is there for me to do my best? My agent would say that the fans have treated me poorly and that I would play better at a different club. I would be inclined to play my heart out every time I played against the Spurs.
Thanks to the mods who have started to lock negative threads.
We need to get right behind MY SPURS, YOUR SPURS, OUR SPURS! Let them know that we are truely behind them. Shout and encourage them at every opportunity, especially on our forum and do not give supporters from other clubs the opportunity to take the p##s out of us!

Well of course Im behind them, yes there is frustration of not getting the results due to so many factors, but at the end of the day we'll stick with Spurs, no matter what happens, no matter who we sign/get rid of, no matter the results, Tottenham Hotspur in the end of the day will always get my full support!

Mate I am as guilty as the next man and my only excuse is that I let myself get carried away with the hype even more so this close season.

I am always right behind the boys but keep getting let down time after time. Spoze I should be used to it by now and not get so fiesty every time it happens.

Apolagies to the lads, and rest assured I will be right behind them this weekend.

Great comment buddy. I suppose I'm venting my frustration at those who want blood after only a handful of games and maybe I'm concearned that we could end up like Newcastle where we played spot the supporter last night.

The last time I looked we were sitting at the bottom of the league, therefore something is wrong... and I for one need to talk about it with fellow Spurs... most of my mates are supporters of other clubs and have no sympathy for our plight... except my mate who supports Hearts.. ;-)

As Ive said here before, getting behind the team is what we do on the terraces on Saturday, everything else is just passing the time, inc. being on this Forum. . .

In tottenham we trust "together we stand together we fall" .. their is twelve players in the team & that twelve player is us yids ..so C O Y S . Portsmouth are low in confidence after letting in 10 goals in two games & spurs will be fired up after beating newcastle the other night ..victory will be ours .

Yes buddy. The definately wrong bit is this. Some **hole sold the team whilst I was on holiday, made a complete prat of himself in the transfer market thus embarasing the club and then has the audacity to inflict players upon our manager who is then expected to work miracles in order to create an instant top four team. When this doesn't happen, what do we do? We firstly **** the manager and then **** the players and eventually **** Comolli (the a**hole). So who's really crazy? Believe it or not, miricles are not always instant and a team who has literally been rebuilt on the last few days of the transfer window need to learn how each other play.
I rest my case!

I want blood at this stage of the season and i make no apologies for doing so, I love Spurs but im no mug who sits in the stands paying stupid money for tickets to watch complete dross by the team, I will make my feelings known as a paying punter, I will boo them off and I will critisise the non triers in the squad!
I want succes like the next man but to just take it like a ***** without the players and club knowing our pain is ignorant.
Were bottom of the leauge and playing appaulingly,every game ive been to this season or seen on th box the support by the fans has been second to none so what more must we do?
As for these forums again this is where we should be able to chat about the dead wood in the team and Ramos being tactically inept at the moment playing players out of postion ect.........
Once again my support is un-questionable but i have every right to criticise them at this stage, a win tomorow at Pompey will shut my big gob.
