Thought would be a good idea for our 1st premership team beaten for some player rating so here we go :
Gomes : 7 Had a good all round game, wasnt tested much.
Woody : 9 Solid rock (man of the match for me)
Ekotto : 7 Good all round game
Corluka : 6 Temper temper!
Bale : 7 Played his average game
Zokora : 8 For me did well defense wise today worked hard
Jenas : 6 Found him absent on the pitch
O hara : 8 Worked his socks off and the goal
Pavl : 8 Worked also hard, witha goal, and if O Hara wasnt selfish he could of got a 2nd easy...But O hara did have every right to try!
Lennon : 7 Worked hard, but messed up alot of good chances
Subs : Modric : 6 Still isnt coping with the premier league
Santos : 8 Direct impact, very pleased with him
Cambell : 6 Didnt change anything
Some ratings me be harsh, but we cannot forget that 1st half...
Coooome oooon yoooou spuuuurs, cooome ooon yooou spuuurs.
Are these your ratings or from the BBC or somewhere? I can't really comment as I didn't see the whole match, just wondering...
"It's no use just winning, we've got to win well."
No way the ratings from a respected jouranlistic source would be that good. We were average at best. Newcastle were just worse!
you missed out king! think your being a bit harsh to campbell, he chased down the defence and forced errors
Give a man a fire, he'll be warm for a night, set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life!
Good Afternoon, there were not any 9 or 8 performances in my
opinion, Newcastle were just worse than us. First half was as bad
a forty five as I've ever seen...
These are my ratings! And wanted to know what you all think with your own ratings^^
sorry for not being clear :/

Gomes - 7 - Collected balls well and looked strong, maybe could have done more with the cross leading to the goal.
Corluka - 6 - Improved greatly from last time i saw him play (villa) in my eyes, could become a good signing.
Woodgate - 8 - Solid as ever, what would we do without him
King - 6 - Made a few errors and seems to be on the wrong side of the hill.
Ekotto - 5- Probably a biased view as i hate the guy but I think he was pretty useless, cross leading to goal was his fault.
Lennon - 6 - Never really got going when running, good cross for the goal though.
Jenas - 5 - Fairly absent again
Zokora - 6 - Battled hard with some good runs, but lost possession a bit too often.
O'Hara - 7 - Worked very hard, got a goal but, again, gave away possession a few times.
Bale - 4 - Looked very off the pace and achieved very little at lm, right to be subbed.
Pavly - 7 - Worked hard upfront and deserved the goal
Subs:
Dos Santos - 7 - Instant impact, making runs, but then faded away a bit, probably due to the defensive mindset employed after the 2 goal lead.
Modric - 5 - Again failed to show any of the flair expected from him.
Campbell - 6 - Worked quite hard, but achieved very little.
I would give every1 apart from Woodgate and Santos a 6 or below.
gomes 7, did not have to do a lot but what he did do he did well the octypus !!!
king 7, looked fragile panic every time hes upended . but he did well professional
woodgate 7, the more i see him the more i think he should be captain rock in our defense
corluka , 7 , integrated well into the team big physical player .
zokora , 6 lost the ball quite a bit but made some good forward runs
bale 7, confident on the ball looks a great prospect
lennon 7, showed some good turns of pace and crosses were improved
jenas 6, disappeared for long periods of the game but was good when tried.
ekotto 6, played ok but will struggle to feature if huttons fit .
dos santos 7, the game changed when he came on
pavylochenko 8, player of the match for me work rate was brilliant . and the goal was not bad either.
campbell ,? who cares he a man utd player .
o,hara 6, very positive young player not his best performance .
ramos 9, for speaking english in his interview

No one reached above a 7 imo and that would only go to Lennon, King and Woody the rest were awful and average.
Ekotto and Oharer were specialy crap, the left back back postion is a joke with Bale being over looked time and time again.
Great to see Pave score a cracking goal from a decent Lennon cross.
F*ck Stratford!!!!
I thought what Gomes did he did extreemly well. Commanded his box superbly and probably contributed to the minimal ammount of chances that Newcastle had. Only fault if you are being picky would be that he parried the cross straight to Owen for their goal but being very harsh.
Pav threw his weight about and showed some boll*x unlike the rest of the prima-donnas we have on our team. At least when he got nailed he got back up and smashed the geeza in the chops. That I have utmost respect for, give as good as you get!!! Although totally unmarked, tidy finish too.
Woodgate (MOM) was once again different gravey. This guy must go home to his (fit) missus and ask himself why he joined our sorry outfit. He was rock solid at the back and even eclipsed Ledders performance which is pretty much unheard of. When he strolled over the halfway line he was always a threat and was the only player who looked anywhere near like niking a goal in the first half.
Lennon cotinued his rich vien of form and if ther is any truth in thr Real Madrid rumors then he is doing him self no halm at all. The end product still isnt top draw but its so much better than we have ever seen before. He seems revitalised and has the spark that helped him beat players is the past back again. The past 2 or so seasons he has been the most frustrating player at our club. As he weaved across the pitch as he was for some reason unable to beat a fullback or dig the ball with his left boot.
GDS when he came on added a much needed attacking thrust. This lad as he matures will be very special he can go outside, cut inside, whip a ball in, dig it with either foot he is a rough diamond IMO.
The rest paled into insignificance and those mentioned were not by any measure world beaters.
One question I will ask is why yet again we had players playing in foreign positions.
I still dont get it Mr Ramos, explain to me please!!!
