Yes i must agree, King (apart from one mistake), Woody and Dos Santos (who made a good impact since he came on) all have had a good game!

Pav looked great out there, finally confident. Woodgate for sure was the hero. What an asset. Nice O'Hara goal too! Lennon didn't get a chance to do anything because he was getting hacked the entire time he was in the game, and rarely ever got a foul could for him!

All the subs looked hungry, and Gomez was superb.

but pav was poor till after his goal!!

as was ohara, good awearness for his goal, but poor at retaining the ball

the diffrence was we could add a bit of class to a drab game from the bench and newcastle couldnt
we were no better than them up antill gios arrival

I fully agree Pirate with what you say it was a terrible 1st half and both teams were poor and lacking in quality and confidence but thankfully we got the result imagine what we`d have been like had the result been the other way :dancing:
