According to Van Persie, FC Twente are Holland's Tottenham Hotspur. Well, if that's the case, Come On You Twente! I hope they walk all over the gooners tonight & teach Robin a lesson he'll have to learn fast - Spurs are better than Arsenal now!

Until Tottenham finish above Arsenal for the amount of years Arsenal have finished above Tottenham I can't say I agree with you, but I will most certainly be gunning for Twente tonight

Apparently they are Martin Jol's old team too so there's added incentive for them to beat the scum!
Unfortunately Engelaar has moved to Schalke. However, Arsenal are without Fabregas & Toure so Twente aren't without hope.

Twente are a pretty good team but i dont think there as good a team as spurs at the moment, that a side I think thats a disrespectable thing to say by van persie about spurs. Come on twente, wipe the smile off them gooner faces!

Don't bother me at all. The post was meant as a bit of irony & to give support to a team who have the opportunity to knock the scum out of the CL early.
Arsenal have been pretty hopeless so far and haven't even got near Twente's goal.
If this is a sign of what is to come from the scum this season then they will struggle to make the top 4, they have been awful with half hour gone and should be losing by 1 or 2 by now

I always used to say that it didnt matter what English team was playing in Europe that I would awlways route for the English team and shocked my self when the missus just said "who do we want to win the reds or greens"? And I said the reds!!!
I truly think it is morons like (IMO) Tores/Liverpool that are opinionated and arrogant that may have swayed my patriotic veiws over to a darker side.

I do think that other teams arragont supporters sway our opinions but I think its a little bit of bitterness chucked in as well!
