Really dissapointed that he didn't get the chance to play in the Rotterdam Tournament
This boy is scoring hatloads of goals week in week out for the ressies, another hat trick last night
Hopefully he will get a chance against Roma on Sunday
or in a couple of early cup rounds.
I would like to see him get a run in the Carling Cup and i think that he will and you're right he is banging them in for SPurs XI
Ditto we need to get alot more youngsters in our colours in the CC this season. Rest the big guns and allow them to play in the lesser games.
I would also like to see the likes of Gunter, and Bostock in the CC or maybe mixed in the line-up against some teams like Stoke or Hull but I'm not sure if we want to risk dropping points but I don't think against them it would be too risky and they could get some nice experience and our starters could get a nice rest
I agree. I'd like to see Adam Smith get a chance in the CC also. I was impressed by him the other night. Jansson looks good in goal too.
maybe the arsene has started a revolution really......most teams aside from arsenal have not brought in young talent to nurture. Although after watching all the youngsters during our(uniteds) pre-season im very very optimistic that they can fill in when we need someone to come up big. Rodrigo Possebon is a slick scholes looking midfielder, very calm can pass the ball with great accuracy and aggressive in the tackle(and smarter not as rash as scholes lol) and has a great size too him. Gibson who had a rocket in the last game vs Petersborough from 30 yards with a left footed volley what more can i say lol. The biggest 2 im interested to see is the Brazilian Da Silva twins, they are touted to be the brazilian neville's as one plays RB and the other LB. Rafael da Silva did so well during the last game (take in mind neither one of the kids had played a competitive game in a year cause of us waiting till they turned 18 to sign them and as part of that they decided to not risk being injured and waiting) that SAF even said he was a revalation and that when asked if he would have a spot in the first team he was quoted saying "You know what football's like. Sometimes it turns up some star, some little nugget maybe. On the evidence of tonight I think we have got a good player here." have a read yourself.

We've always nurtured young talent and, better than goonerscum, most of it is British. What's specifically exciting now, as I mentioned in a separate thread, we are raising our own too (like O'Hara & Smith) that are getting time in the 1st team. Its great bringing in young talent and moulding it (Like Lennon, Huddlestone, Pekhart, Jansson, Bostock, Gunter, Bale, Gio, etc) but its even more satisfying when they're your own! (Ledley King!)
I really am hoping that our youth can become one of the best in the world and I think that we should invest in it heavily to make it world class also we should be scouting all over the place for great teens and we can bring them up in our academy
I think that there is room for all of them in every game, not limited to CC . . . play the first team, lead by 3 nil! . . then bring in the young ones . . . Ramos is a good manager and he is daring, so I expect more youngsters to come through this season.
didn't we buy Pekhart from Slavia Prague or someone like that?
yeah would love to see more of this guy and Tarabbt too though!
