When we signed him I wasn't massively excited by him to be honest, espeically at that money, but seeing him so far he has looked brilliant and in this team I think he will be quality.

I agree with an earlier poster. I wasn't sure of his commitment and whether he just wanted a pay rise but he seems to making all the right noises about the club and seems to determined to do well. Hopefully with him, Jenas and Lennon we could provide the bulk of Englands midfield in the future (*wishful thinking alert*)
last season his abilty to take a touch and whip a ball in was fantastic, he is definitely going to be the next england right midfielder when d.beckham hangs up his boots...and at only 23 we have a lot of quality to come from this lad
It will be interesting to see how he responds to a poor performance this week and he will be coming back to WHL where he was great vs. Roma
ALso he needs to stay wide and give us that width
