Having seen him 3 times this week I have to say he is unorthodox but seems very effective. Another super Juande signing? Only seen him give it a Robbo welly once, definitely more emphasis on playing the ball out from the back.

I must admit i'm not overly convinced yet about Gomes. Sometimes it seems that the lack of goals conceaded is more luck than judgment. Still when the Premier League gets under way we'll know.

All the best players have that lucky streak mate, he is good and will become better for sure.
i remember watching him in the uefa cup for psv and the commentators commented on how he is very up and down, more up than down though (hopefully) but always a very good character for the team and also he is huge!!
well after i saw robbo fro blackburn yesterday im glad we got gomes!!!

Bentley vs. Arsenal 4-4
Rose vs. Arsenal 2-1
Seeing all the yidos smiling at last- Priceless
At the moment he looks like our best signing, he nearly pulled of a miracle save for their first yesterday, if only it had just gone over and not straight back off the bar ! I'm much happier than I was with Robbo, he was finished at Spurs, there really was no way back for him. I wish him well at Blackburn though, but it looks like he tried to ruin it for them yesterday ! Pretty bad mistake for Arteta's goal.
looked like his confidence still werent there
gomes will be good and will win us points

The more I see of this guy the more I like him. He's a real character isn't he. He's been the 1st player to come out after each game & say its not good enough. He seems like exactly the sort of bloke you want in your team to me.
Add to that he's pulled off some fantastic saves in the last few games & he is becoming highlight at Spurs.
King and Bongani,

(watch out here they come!)
Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!
Rafael, Van Der Vaart
ƒuck Chelsea & Frank Lampard
with a nick-nack paddywhack he'll be getting goals
when Lampard's too fat & old

What a save in the first half!!! The Guy looks good and will become a firm favourite with Park Lane Yidds.
There has been a lot of negatives so far but Gomes is a big, big, positive. What a game he had. Took control of the box and no flapping. Sorry Robbo we still love ur
He comes off his line alot ie looks to get lobbed if not carefull but fook me he looks very confident in that goal.
Great buy.
F*ck Stratford!!!!
After Gomes performance today I think we have found a player who is gonna become a legend at the lane, from the first save from lampards chip to his long throw outs , he came for so many crosses and didn't miss one . I think he will be captain of spurs sooner or later.
He oozes confidence, and that helps the defence. Unless its Dawson as he's beyond help!!
He's been a bit shakey since he signed, but he firmed himself up today. The save from Lampard's lob was brilliant, but to be fair he shouldn't off his line in the first place.

I think if he wasn't off his line lampard would have opted for a more powerful and placed shot which would have most likely gone in. Yeah he shouldn't have been off the line but it worked out kinda nice for us.
Its nice to have someone trustworthy in goal. I'm sure we would have probably lost by 2-3 goals if Robbo was still in goal.
