I found it slightly bizarre switching on Sky Sports 2 this afternoon to watch Spurs v Celtic only to find Didier Zokora occupying the right back position. He seems to be playing all over the place this preseason. However, I was actually pleasantly surprised. Despite a couple wayward crosses, I thought he did very well, especially defensively. I don't for a minute believe he'll end up playing there for us next season but, if needed, I think he could do an OK job there, amazingly. Even more incredible was his wing-play. For a guy whose usually useless going forwards he was fairly impressive. He's not going to be replacing Aaron Lennon anytime soon but he was far better than expected and, although his crossing was pretty wild, he at least seemed like he knew what he was doing. His best preseason game so far. Any bets where he'll turn up next? What are the odds on striker? or maybe in goal!

He did do a very good job filling in at right back, like you I was also suprised apart from is crosses which were all appalling.
I think He will be cover for the defencive positions and in center mid which could work out well for spurs as long as we dont let him shoot!
Zokora is that type of player that can play all defensive positions from CB trough wing back to DM becouse of his stamina, but he can just do average job on every of those positions... Hes not player that will impress you with beautiful passes, goals or dribles, but he will get the job done
Kinda like Vedran Corluka in City...
Come on you Spurs
zokora i have always liked yes he is probably never going to score and is passes can be wayward but he is attack minded and this will gel well with the team ramos is putting together .
