Obviously Dawkins and Bentley are the surprises. I would be very surprised if we end up seeing either of them. Perhaps on the bench.

Bentley's inclusion is particularly interesting. It has to have something to do with us not being able to sign a winger in January. As much as I hate to say it, Bentley has performed well at times when Azza has been injured. Hopefully he doesnt get called on, but if he does he might be able to make a positive contribution.

Bentley goes missing quite often.

I like the smaller squad. I think Levy is going a good job of preparing the wage bill for the summer.

Yep, that was the genius of the Nelsen and Saha signings. We needed to get rid of Bassong and Pav, however we couldn't afford to go down another CB or striker this season. So ship them out, bring in veteran players who are just happy to be here and can fill in for emergency duty, then in the summer make our big move.

Just noticed they didn't give Bentley his old number back. His being assigned a high number like 38 is enough for me to believe he was only included because there wasn't a reason to not include him.

If I'm not mistaken, he was given #38 last season too.

Ok im ready for the ripping but I think the bently inclusion is a very clever move. user suffer when we can't play azza or bazza at the end of the day bently is a winger and he can deliver a good ball if he's feeling confident.

Should be fit in 6 weeks so we might see him get a few games.
