Good to hear our lot singing "only one Harry Redknapp" last night. God knows, particularly this year with heart stuff and court the guy deserves it.

Got me thinking - I hear us singing the players' names a lot, but don't hear one Harry Redknapp or Harry Redknapp's blue & white army that much.

Have I just missed it? Support seems fairly widespread on here for him, but are we guilty of taking mr cockney cheaky chappy for granted, do we diminish his achievements as it's just our 'Arry, and are we at risk of not showing enough appreciation - he could be gone in the summer for England - b*ood* hope not, but could we do more?

Other threads commenting on lack of inspiration for alternative managers are worrying. Harry is the right man in the right place at the right time. Last time it was anywhere near as good as this IMO was when we had Venables, then he went and we lost it again. Ruddock said on TalkSport recently that squad could have done something special, but it disbanded after Venables left.

Can we "support" Harry into staying? Start some handcuffing to goal posts, big banners, send out the love now to try and keep him from the inevitable press slaughtering that will be the England job after the honeymoon period wears off?

It was amazing to see Harry respond to the Park Lane last night after every song they sang for him.

I think he's amazing, and hope he stays.

It was absolutely brilliant, with the whole stadium chanting Arry's name.

I heard that last night and it was great. Has it happened much before that I've missed? I feel, rightly or wrongly, that we've loved the team but kind of left him out of it and maybe not shown appreciation enough. Hope if that has been the case that we will be more vocal in our support of him now.

Definitely look forward to hearing us drown out queen kenny's supporters on Monday

Yeh agreed.. It was really good to sing Harry redknapps blue and white army.. It must have made him feel good hearing 35k of fans singing it out.. He don't get that normally..

I suppose it is much better than singing 'he pays what he wants.. He pays what he wants.. Harry redknapp, he pays what he wants'

That takes the piss a bit..

      Ever.

Statistically speaking.....if he was to win a title with us there would be quite and argument for Harry vs Bill Nic

Not in my mind there wouldn't. There was and will only be, one Bill Nicholson. He well and truly put this club on the map.

Only thing stopping that is the FA and him publicly stating that he loves this club.

He would then have to come up with some fooooookin clever quotes to match sir Bill.
