Sorry if there's already a thread, I couldn't see one. Anyone heard the story going round today that AEG have bought us, with Levy staying on as chairman?

hmm wouldnt be surprised as it does coincide well with us being taken off the stock exchange. I'm a little bit wary of us being taken over by a company like AEG who for me are a little bit dubious. aha sorry mate misread it. I dont like Lewis either he has a very high opinion of himself but he does do a half decent article on spurs in the Mirror.

AEG boss Philip Anschutz is being linked with a takeover of Tottenham.
The Guardian says Anschutz's AEG conglomerate is leading Spurs' push for a move to Stratford.

just saw this written a year ago which links AEG with a purchase of spurs. Outdated but interesting nonetheless.
AEG have been involved with the construction of a few sports stadiums, I heard? I had wondered what their position would be after it became clear we weren't going to Stratford.
If they do take us over (which I doubt) be thankful it's them rather than someone like Venky's. Modric really then would be entitled to say 'Me no like chicken badge'.
