Just curious what you all think about going for Arshavin too?
I just hope that he is not the type of player that only comes out to play during Euro finals.
Anyone out there knows if he was going great guns with Zenit?

sry don't know what this means is it a british expression
Playing well, I presume.
He must have played a part in Zenit's success in the UEFA Cup win. Not many of the other players are being touted for big transfers.
I say yes, we do need him. Its a long season and creativity in midfield (plus a poor defence) let us down last season.
watching Zenit vs. CSKA right now and he isn't doing so hot right now he really on had one run where he could have made something happen towards the end of the first half I'll tell you how the rest of the game goes
Waste of our time, definite waste of our money. I pray that Levy and Ramos are not seriously considering this transfer.
I see that most of you dont want Arshavin in Spurs... Why is that??
We lost Robbie and who will replace him?? Yes Villa would be perfect but get real... Arshavin is as near to Keane as you can get... Hes better than Milito, Oliveira and other strikers we have being linked to... If we get Villa it would be dream come true... but how often that happens??
Come on you Spurs
i think we should be looking at someone that is tried and tested at the premiership level, not someone thats only just come to light and had one good tournament. santa cruz would be my preferred man, but we dont always go for the obvious. how many rookies have a season like berbatovs first? not many!
Give a man a fire, he'll be warm for a night, set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life!
We actually dont, but he would add some more depth to our squad if we are up to being in top 4 in league..
Really not thrilled about this Arshvin ... Hes not my type of player nor spurs
Fair enough zojec, I just don't feel that Arshavin is the type of player that would fit in well with Spurs. And from what I have seen from him, albeit very little, I am just not overly impressed with his abilities. He doesn't seem to be a tested player that we can all say with confidence will do well in the Premier League. Do I want Villa? Of course! I would love to have him at the Lane. Is it going to happen? Seriously doubt it. I just think that for the money Zenit are aksing for, Arshavin is not worth it and by a long shot at that. I'd rather sit on the money and wait until January to see if someone else comes about.

Its got disaster written all over it. I'd love to be proved wrong but I personally wouldnt touch him with a barge pole. I still have nightmares about the £11m or whatever it was we wasted on Rebrov.
we don't need to buy arshavin just as a panic buy we should remain calm and collected
