defenders will find it easy to mark db, i dont think hes an itelligent mover and to play the lone striker role u have to be. We are still in need of a top class 9, some one to hold up the ball and bring others in .........SANTA CRUZ springs to mind.

i really like this signing - if complete, big fan of DB but i watched the game - spurs v hercules f.c and in total honesty we were sh1te, worse possibly but lennon was prob our best player after berbs. looked hungry for the ball , drew fouls and looked a bit more like the lennon of a couple seasons back - busy and attacking - in terms of wing play he is the complete opposite to DB so good options all round

I've said elsewhere that I don't want Bentley because he was 'too 'tired' to play for England U21's, and therefore question his commitment. However, if it is true he is a lifelong yid then perhaps he will have the passion that Robbie says he has for 'pool. If he scores the winner against the arse I might forgive him.

On that note, if we do sign him, the arse will get about £5 Million as part of a sell clause.

how can you say that??? bent has proved he can score week in and week out against any prem team while he was at charlton.
