reports are that ramos has already decided to sell arron lennon at the end of the season and liverpool as well as newcastle are interested !!! now was it not 2 months ago that daniel levy publicly said that spurs were not a selling club and were building a team for the future ? ?? why sell one of the clubs up and coming stars if we are not a selling club ?

I understand your frustration mate but he must have something better lined up and needs the funds.Originally Posted by bazzabelfast

The boy couldn’t cross the road and he and Rambo know it!!! Why else would he frustrate the sh*t out of 37,000 people week in and out at The Lane by constantly cutting from right to left across the park, and not smashing his opposition defender with pace then whipping a neat ball onto Berbs bonce!!!
I think its a bold and positive move.

i appreciate that his final ball does let him down , but i still think he is a quality player with a lot to give , i also appreciate that big decisions have to be made for the clubs progression !!! but selling to the top 4 does not help our club progress , spurs should not be a feeder club for the top 4 !!! they should be in the top 4 .

That was my first thought to ! however lennon hasnt been the force he once was and most prem sides have workied out how to control him, his finished product is poor weather its crossing or shooting, the only thing he has is his blister pace which i think puts him out of ramoses side. Ramos wants solid skillful players that can do what they are suppose to ! whats a winger suppose to be good at ? and is he good at it all the time ? the answer is no... Sorry but time to move on and lennon isnt the future anymore, All we can say is Thanks for everythng he put into the club and wish him the bestbut selling to the top 4 does not help our club progress
he isn't good enough and I would be surprised to see any of the top 4 wanting him.
David Bentley anyone?
Yeah I cant see Liverpool coming in for him, no way actually!!!!
I used to have so much time for the boy and would defend him to the bitter end but im afraid now hes run out of favour for me, his end ball is absolutley appauling I mean propper rubbish for a winger who gets into wonderfull positions on the park only to deliver a quite shocking cross that you can gaurantee wont miss the first defender.
I thought about it the other day the amount of goals we should have had from that kind of position only to be let down by his delivery.
If he goes then so be it , im sure Ramos has a top winger in his sights and its big decisions like this we need at the club to rock the boat abit.
We are no feeder club either thats west spams job :6:
F*ck Stratford!!!!
I know I sound like I'm Lennon bashing but it isnt just him. We have no out and out wingers (fit ones)
What we do have.......... is posibly the best pairing up top other than posibly Man U (just watching that goofy goal machine smash Roma)
What we dont have..........is quality deliveries for them to thrive off. Would we be languishing in 10thish place if we gave them opourtunities in the air from crosses.
Posibly. But I personally think not.
This is where I think we need to focus most of our attention close season. Recruiting some propper tallent on the flanks. This would give the entire tem better ballance. Freeing up the centre for JJ (or his replacement) to shine.

when lennon first appeared he blew everyone away - no one could cope with his pace and trickery.
but i think the other clubs know how to deal with him now and he's just not supplying the end ball.
it's decisions like this that will make berbs want to stay - if ramos is saying to berbatov that he knows he's frustrated with his supply and that he's going to get this top class winger or that top class attacking midfielder berbs is going to say yeah all right lets give it a go - but will he stay if he thinks he's got another season of balls going over his head, delivered short , going anywhere but to his feet or head he's going to f**k off exactly where we don't want him and i'd rather have lennon at man u or chelsea than berbs
i know the whole team doesn't revolve around berbs but it highlights where we're missing out.
i'd say ramos knows where he's going and he's thinking - i don't want good but not great - i just want great players in this club and much as i like lennon - is he a "great" player?.....
I'm sure he used to get a fair few assists, now his confidence seems to be gone and he has got gradually worse over last two seasons and I think time may well be up. As I said I just don't think he is good enough.
Regards us being in a better league position if we had a better supply line for Berba and Keane I'm not so sure. Do we really think scoring goals has been the problem?
Just watching Lennon recently it appears that he does indeed have trouble crossing. As a coach, I know that speed fades rather quickly, skill does not. If he can't finish, the speed does little good.
why sell to Newcastle? Thats a huge step down.
