      hi all
can anyone explain how a dude at 6'2" in a bright blue shirt and orange boots can run onto a huge open green field and then completely disappear.
is he an undercover recconnaissance expert?
does he run on and then run off again really quickly when noone is looking?
i reckon he may be a better bet in the old "black ops"
can tottenham sell him to MI6... CI5....someone.....ANYONE...

yeah he was shockin wernt he ! with the two reletively easy shots he had he managed to lose the ball without knowing it and hits the bar from 2 yards ! hmm 16m be lucky to 1.6 mil , i know defoe wanted 1st team football but leaving him on the bench instead of bent for another year would be a nicer feeling, it's either that or we start to bring in the younger generation of strikers for subs..

You funny f*cker but very apt all the same, he seemed to just drift in and out the team and made the side seem toothless when he came on.

Hopefully hes returned to MI6 :2:

From what i can make of him he only wants to hang off the last defender and try and use his pace even if that means he dont touch the ball for 20mins at a time! Berba got very frustrated with him against slavia because he likes to pass short and do 1-2's and create a attack which him and keane do often but bent just wanted a long ball over the top which aint going to happen much at spurs but always did at charlton. He aint no good for us but who will buy him? I worry we are lumberd with him :3:

I'm all for giving players a chance but i just don't see it happening for him with us. He certainly doesn't fit with the style of football ramos appears to want to play. I agree, would rather have seen defoe on the bench but he's history so either ramos buys in the summer or, as someone said, young strikers at the club are given a chance...

Good Morning, I'm probably going to be the only
one to defend Bent, so I will put on my hard hat!
Berba and Keane now have an incredible understanding,
through playing so long together. So it is hard for Bent
coming on as Sub. He needs a run in the team, and
unless one of the main two is suspended or injured, I
can't see that happening. Also he looks unfit, and
certainly is not "match fit" at the moment. Funster
mentioned the pitch being hard, that will not have been
ideal for him, just coming back from a lay off.

If Berba leaves in the Summer as I suspect he will,
wonder if Bent will get a chance in the team or another
partner for Robbie will be purchased?
      Kindest Regards Slim.

you can say what you want bout defoe but he always made a big impact when he came on - to be honest a players "style of play" should include getting yourself involved in the game and being in the right place at the right time - if berbs doesn't go ( oh please god don't let him go ) it will be easier to get rid and buy two more strikers who know they're fighting for first team places but if the big lad stays whose going to want that seat on the bench- it'll be fairly tricky to find the right calibre of player that will be willing to come into a guaranteed third spot .......
