Im sure this question has been asked before, but i cant remember the answer and cant find the thread.
On my leage match tickets, it says the membership card is needed aswell as the ticket... is it? ive sold the tickets to someone at work and dont want to send him with the cards if he doesnt need them.

I have never been asked to show a membership card at a match. I dont think they need to take them - IF they get asked they can always say they forgot to take them.
Id be amazed if they had a problem.
yeah, thats what i thought. the last time i went to the lane was 2 seasone ago when i wasnt a member, so i dont know if this is a new thing or not.
subsequently, i was talking to my old man tonight, who works at bouremouth uni, and he was telling me about new technology premiership clubs are investing in. basically, the uni are going to be getting access cards to certain areas that students and staff will have. the same company are working with premiership clubs and the idea is every member gets issued with a card, and rather than wait for tickets to arrive, you just have your card access granted so when you turn up, you swipe and walk in. its meant to combat touts apparently. being old, he couldnt remember what clubs were planning on making these changes

That actually sounds like a decent idea if they can get it to work. Plus we would'nt have to pay the ridiculous arrangement & postage fees (hopefully).
yeah, i think its a good idea. although they would change to word 'postage' to 'process' and charge us double what they do now
