Apparently the two UEFA cup finalists ticket allocation is only 13k. So the fans get 26k of the 46k tickets available at Eastlands. Thats leave 20k tickets for the Prawn sandwich brigade.

Or should we say touts.............

Lets hope we make it against a team from Kazakhstan or such like that only bring 2k supporters :5:

I just worked out the comparison with how many tickets have gone to the clubs for the League Cup final. On the assumption that Chelsea had the same allocation its about 70% going to the clubs. Incredibly for the UEFA Cup based on the above numbers its only just a shade over a measly 55%! Daft.

Ok, go to UEFA.com

You can regsiter for the ballot for the spare 11k tickets (£90 to £55) & can apply for a maximum of 2 tickets.

You can register up to 16th Mar & they let you know by the 25th Mar if you have 'won' tickets.

You have to enter a passport or Driving license number (to presumably stop touts) & credit card. Also you can name the price of ticket you want to apply for or just take any that you are offered.

There is a 'get out' period (in case your team is eliminated).

All that surprises me about the Uefa ticket allocation is that anyone should be surprised by it. I've long since become a cynical old git when it comes to the workings of the football authorities. Still, good luck with the ballot. Everyone I know entered last year. Not a sniff. Still, i fancy us to make it this time. In fact, i fancy us to give anyone a real game these days thanks to Mr Ramos...

I applied for the ballet for the 11k tickets last year (Think it was 14K then) and out of the 4 people who applied only 1 got tickets so get whoever you would be going with to apply too, you can also cancel them if you get too many.

I'll be trying again but all my other friends who applied are out of the country for a year :4:
