that is such a shame when you think how much priemiership footballers are paid by the week, Something has to be done in the long run i think to benefit smaller clubs more. maybe a wage cap of some kind? Not sure what the anwser is but its about time more was doneOriginally Posted by brain_chilled
yeah, my question is if theyre such an 'inferior' club, why does it still cost £25 -£30 to go see them play!?!?!?!

seems alot but i suppose there are alot of overheads to pay out on land, bills, wages etc. they dont get no where near as much sponsership and i would have thought they have to charge people who are loyal enough to watch them every week that much because they dont get enough people week in week out. so they flece the ones who do turn up to subsadise it.Originally Posted by brain_chilled
The one's that turn up and pay £25-£30 to watch that need locking up, that
is an extortionate amount to pay to watch that level of football, they could
reduce the gate prices and get more people in to start with, one question i
would ask is "how much are the paying Anderton down there", i bet his wage
bill hikes the budget up.
I bet there are more Bournemouth fans who would like to go to the games but
can't afford to, the board really seem to have fu@*ed that club up, i know all
of the lower league clubs are self funding but the first thing you look at is the
gate prices and the players wages.
To all you Bournemouth fans out there, i sincerely hope someone comes along
with a pot full of cash and bails you out, good luck.
Sadly for AFC, they've been here before. I remember years ago - 1996? 1997? The threat of going out of business and they were just about saved.
The issue now is that going into administration carries with it a ten point penalty. Right or wrong, we could argue the toss, but for AFC it almost certainly means relegation this season and the rebuilding process will therefore be an even more arduous one.
Its a shame when any club go into administration.
It must be gutting for the fans.It makes me think back to 1991...What if?!!
