Hi all, i just felt that the way Jenas has been performing lately deserved a mention. Personally i feel he has been the most improved player in the team under ramos, his work rate has improved immensely, and he doesn't let himself drop in and out of games anymore. i'm glad that Jol, and now ramos kept faith in him, as he's finally starting to make good on the money we paid newcastle.
Capello obviously agrees, hopefully he'll take the place of the woefull lampard in an england shirt in the future.
Yeah, he has improved no end, i'v got to admit that i was one of the doubters with
regards to the way he played, he looked like he was just along for the ride and
happy to pick up his fat pay cheque and wasn't bothered when we won or lost,
there's no doubt that the ability was there but it was just a case of getting the
best out of him and Ramos seems to be doing that, the first sign of his improvement
came in the first leg of the CC semi-final where he was superb and he has maintained
that level since then, it's almost like getting a new signing in the middle of the park.
The way that Ramos has worked with the player is there for all to see, we look so
much fitter than we have for a long time, the diet's have changed and he has also
banned Tom Huddlestone from McDonald's (apparently).
With the new signings, improved fitness, the emergence of up coming stars like
Jamie O'Hara, the futures looking bright.
I agree with what has already been said.
He is also chipping in with a few goals as well. Could turn into a proper Tottenham midfielder in the very near future.
He could, also if Huddlestone comes of age in the middle of the park we could have a
bright future, wth Jenas and Thud in the middle, Steed on the left and Lennon on the
right, we have sturdiness in the middle and good pace on both flanks, a good back
line to pick from and Keane and Berbs up front, it's starting to look pretty good.
Mind you, i had a pound for every time i have said in the close season "we just need one (delete as appropriate) & one (delete as appropriate) & we will have a brilliant team next season" i'd have £40 now...... :5:
JJ has been imense recently and i gotta admit i was one who thought the guy was lazy and basically a plie of over hyped crapin recent seasons but thankfully hes proved me very wrong and he will be key against chelesea at Wembley i beleive.
F*ck Stratford!!!!
Credit must go to the coaching staff and Ramos inparticular for JJ's new lease of life, different player.
He's having to fight for his place now, he knew Jol liked him and he was pretty safe. Now he has to put more effort in because if he was still playing like last year he'd be dropped by Ramos.
If thats right it really annoys me, he should be fined last years wages for not putting the effort in that he is clearly capable of! :6:
Several players seem to have improved in a very short space of time, either Ramos is a miracle worker or they just weren't giving 100% before, or a bit of both...
