      Birmingham City.

Our tight fisted board have been trying to do things on the cheap again and were knocked back by Cahill (Villa)
word was we were trying to do a deal with Spurs for Gardner, but Levey (splg?) told Karren Brady she was shopping at Harrods but looking to spend Woolworths type money, which in truth was typical of our board of directors.

I always quite liked the fella. Decent player. Solid & dependable but not outstanding.

Never really had a prolonged rum in the side, his ankle injury probably came at the worst possble time for him. I think he would habe played in most games this season otherwise.

He was loaned to Everton...bit of a surprise destination, I think. I would assume his ankle is better or close to it...odd signing for Everton, even for loan cover (if he's injured).

Would be good for us if they payed us for him though. :6:
