F*ck Stratford!!!!
i cant see how lennon cant make the first team. what with no beckham aswell :4:
Good Evening, Ledley should not be in the Squad,
and I hope he plays no part in the game whatsoever.
He is nowhere near fully fit, and the last thing we
need is him picking up an injury...
After all, it is only a Friendly.
When i saw the england team i thought staight away than lennon would be in it!Originally Posted by berby999
I agree with the fact King should play no part in the game at all and you could have a case for Woody maybe?
Lennon was a great surprise to me aswell, its been reported that Saun Wright Phillips and Ashley Young are to be used in Lennons position which is gash IMO!
Good to see Beckham being ommited also, no where near fit enough for England and while were at it what the **** has Owen done to get in there?????
F*ck Stratford!!!!
Im praying Leds & Woody play absolutely no part in the game.
Lennons ommission is a joke.
I was surprised Lennon didn't make the seniors - but I think from what I read it wasn't because he wasn't good enough but because he was the one RW young enough to play in the U21s (out of him, SWP and Bentley).
While the seniors is a friendly, the U21s are looking to qaulify for the Euros. Also, quote: (Stuart Pearce)
'We need to see him play,' he said. 'I know Fabio is very interested in seeing him play.
'If players are at an age to play for the Under-21s they'll gain more experience playing than being in the seniors and not playing.
'He's only got two under-21 caps and he hasn't been a regular for the seniors.'

So it's justifiable, methinks. Sounds like Capello expects him to have a part to play.
"The great fallacy is that the game is first and foremost about winning. It's nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It's about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom."

Good Evening, Ledley has been withdrawn from
the England Squad.
Not sure how his fitness is, The Club seem to be
keeping very quiet...
Tis good news in a way he plays no part in a pointless friendly that no one gives two ****s about but it is very worrying about his personal fitness, i though he was on his way back :4:
F*ck Stratford!!!!
