has berba gone of the boil since all the transfere talk has died down, it seems to me that since no one has been writing about him for a week or so he seems to be back just plodding along
i think your spot on with that
i was at the game at old trafford on sunday and i thought his overall work rate was excellant, tracking back and yes he didn't score but i thought he was excellant.
THe Arse game was the same great workrate, i think ramos has said to him and keane that we need to defend from the front and all at times get back behind the ball.
i no what your mean, some would say its his style others would say he is lazy and cant be botherd. I personally think he has put in some good team performances lately but would urge him to be more selfish because thats when he is unperdictable and dangerous. as a team we need to be more creative from midfield and he will knock them in for fun. Its just his style
From what I've seen (only highlights from he last game and a bit more from previous games) he seems to be playing about as well as usual, just never looks like he's trying that hard.
I agree he should maybe be more selfish, I've seen a couple of times recently he's tried to set someone up and they've wasted it when he wasn't in too bad a position himself and probably could have done at least as well.
"It's no use just winning, we've got to win well."
i think your right sometimes forwards do need to be a little selfish
He also gets frustrated to f**k when he offloads to some one and they as you say "f**k it up".
His style of play is lazy but that lulls the defenders into a false sense of security then he tears them a new one!!!
If he is working back too much it will take from his game, as if keano didnt fight tooth and nail after every lost cause he would be further up the fielf and enevitably score more!!!
Its a fine line with strikers.....The real work has to be done across the middle of the park. Think about it.....for a defender to hurt you with the ball it has to be a pinpoint pass over the top of 15 or so players. The strikers need to work hard in the right areas, tactically. IE push the defenders to spread the play either wide or narrow. Just good to see that Ramos has the minerals to motivate the boys.
