Good Evening All, Tomorrow Nights Premier League action
for us, is at Goodison. This 8pm Kick Off sees Tottenham
take on Fourth place Everton. Team news is Cahill and Hibbert
suspended, the former is certainly a big loss for them. While
Yobo, Yakubu, and Pienaar, are away at the African Nations Cup
and Baines is injured.
We are without Dawson, after a moment of madness at Old Trafford,
Paul Stalteri is an injury doubt with a thigh problem and Bent is still
not fit. Zokora away, and Ledley may not even travel, if he is being
“saved” for Saturday’s game. New signing Jonathan Woodgate, may
be given a place in the starting eleven…
This looks tricky, but we can do well at Goodison Park, at least a
Draw for me, possibly a single goal in it, in our favour.
Can we take three points?
What is your view?

wont be easy, but with our recent form, the skys the limit!!!
Give a man a fire, he'll be warm for a night, set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life!
after watching everton's appalling efforts against chelski in the cup i think we can nick a result given our current form, the only problem for me is our defence what with dawson and king out. seems strange kaboul didnt get a look in at manure and couldnt say who ramos will pick against everton.
Goodison is a tough place to go. Crappy stadium, horrible location. Ha ha ha ha ha! Just joking, but I do remember last time I went and my mate Andy and I parked up, some scruffy little kids said "Tenner to watch yer car". Says it all!
I'll be there with the Saint tomorrow evening - the first Forum members to go to a game as a result of being on the forum? A mini-meet of sorts!
Anyway, would be delighted to take a draw back with us tomorrow. We have a tendency to do OK there, but they are a vastly improved side compared to the last couple of years. Tough, well organised, and if neither King nor Woodgate are fit, keeping Johnson quiet whilst keeping an eye on Arteta..... tall order.
I fancy us tonight.
Don't know why.
They are missing a lot of good players. They only win 46% of games when Cahill doesn't play.
I would be more confident if i knew who our defence was going to be.
Im going for 1-0 (Woodgate to score the winner on his debut :29: ).
Yeah I agree with the old man above, I fancy us to get a result up there ive gone for 2-1 to us in the predictions section so im sticking to that.
Be good to see woody play aswell
F*ck Stratford!!!!
Its a tough place to go but you would have to fancy our chances given the players they are missing. I'm also told Leon Osman, who has had a great season so far, is a major doubt. Arteta will pose a big threat, as we found out last season with a free kick wrongly awarded by the hapless Uriah Rennie! I'll go for a 3-1 away win. COYS!
Ps your not wrong funster the place is a dump and those wooden seats have got to be a fire hazard!
i think anything other than a win isn't enough with all the players they have absent we have to look for a win

that team fills me with bags of confidence is kaboul injured? how can a natural center back not get on the bench at least when where so short in that position whats happening at the club for gods sake
Pleased with a clean sheet away with that defence and at everton in general.
what a great result and what a great debut for woodgate i have a great feeling about the signings made so far alan hutton is a real steal from rangers we could have just went from one of the worst defenses in the prem to possibly one of the best !!! :16:
it was good to keep a clean sheet against a team like everton in general
Not much too say on this game really, saw the highlights if you can call em that lol but i guess theres positives to be taken along with the clean sheet Woody looked composed at the back.
Cant wait to see King and Woodgate side by side, perhaps saturday?
F*ck Stratford!!!!
