Considering Robinson is behind Cerny, who's contract is up at the end of the season and it hasn't been renewed (i.e. not wanted) who are we going to get?!
I've heard Green mentioned, I wouldnt mind Foster.
But I can imagine the new keeper coming from abroad, Id say Spain but im not sure who we could tempt that was of a top quality.
In spain have very good goalkeepers ... casillas and reina are the best but they are difficult ... we should look at Palop(Sevilla)(my favourite) ... and cheaper Iraizoz(Athletic) or Diego Lopez(Villarreal)
Barry Daines might be available? :5:
i'd give robbo another go lets not forget how ropey we were at the back when he was cocking up we do look a bit better at the back now if only a little bit

I think there was a rumour about palop when ramos arrived so he might be a good bet
If we are to replace Robbo, then Palop is not our man. He has more than the odd calamity in him.
I really have no idea who I would opt for, but would probably look at someone 30+.
If we were to go into the spanish market, i think Canizares would be an excellent signing, but I doubt he would be available.
Cañizares??? You will not have seen play this year ... :4:
Why don`t like Palop???
I still rate Igor Akinfeev a lot.
Even Bulgarian GK George Petkov and Dimitar Ivankov are better than Robinson/Cherny even though they have their weakness and strenghts
Im not saying Robbo is a bad player btw, but just saying he's clearly going so whos coming in?
I can see it being Palop.
The only thing I know about Akinfeev is that he's good on FM lol.
Canizares is about 37?!
We should go all out for Green, he's a good and up-coming keeper, Robbo should go and we should keep Cerny, Cerny has done nothing wrong except for one slip up against the mancs when the game was as good as dead, also it would rub the pikey's noses in it if he signed for us. :6:
I like Green, I remember when he played against us with Norwich and made possibly the best save i have seen for years from Atouba in the 0-0 draw. Personally, I would like us to sign a 30+ keeper.
I actually thought Cerny was at fault for all three Manc goals on Sunday. the first two he should was caught sleeping on his line when he should have been on the Penalty spot, not letting those balls drop so deep into the box. Lack of communication, and general lack of balls.
But these things happen, if he is given as many second chances as Robbo, he'll be number one for the next five years!
