Decided to join the spurs forum after seeing the greatest spurs game of my life!
But where was Robinson after the final whistle? Couldnt see him celebrating..is this a sign of him leaving the lane?
Well done Spurs, go out and party the nite out, you guys deserve it!
BTW, this thread was made to chat about the recent disappearance of Mr Paul Robinson, last seen on the bench at White Hart Lane.
Dunno if you've seen this:

I posted it a week or so ago. I normally ignore the rubbish written in the press but I think this article has got a bit of truth to it.
If its true I think it stinks that the bloke has been treated this way after the service he has given the club. But I do think its time to move on and unfortunately I think Robbos days are numbered.
surplus to requirements i believe, good keeper , horibly lacking confidence ,
Robbo's failure to join his team mates last night only proves to me that he is a fickle mercenary.
I'm afraid Robbo, not only do you not deserve a place in the starting line up at this current moment in time, your behaviour leads me to think you do not deserve a place at our club.
Arsenal are looking for a new keeper.
Yeah gotta say i was very dissapointed not see Robbo come on and take some praise at the end, even poor Bale hobbled on the pitch on crutches and he wasnt involved at all.
Ive lost my patients a tad with Robbo now, i mean its not like hes top of his game so its only right hes dropped and now has to prove hes our No1 again.
F*ck Stratford!!!!
If he wants to go he should go, theres no point keeping an unsettled player
robbos fall from grace is coincided with our demise at the start of the season the guy has not been performing and cerny has been magnificent , i dont see any way back for robbo to much water under the bridge - to many mistakes
Yeah i will second that, If he hands in a transfer request at any point, he will always be seen as a quiter and end up at man city probley. If he any kind of person he's will nukle down and take his chance if it comes againOriginally Posted by yidno1
ive always liked robbo, but have been saying for 2 seasons hes been overweight and underperforming
i cant remember the amount of points/matches weve lost because of his inadequacies
it seems radek cerny has spread some confidence through the defence 'coinciding with the return of THE KING' but what changed my opinion of him was,,,, did anyone else see the childish faces he was pulling behing ramos' face arseholes first leg ???
hes a pro footballer he has to accept responscibility for his errors, i think hes been cut more than enough slack

It is sad. Robbo has never had to fight for his place. When we signed him he walked into the team, replacing Keller who had been a fine keeper, but more importantly an exceptional proffessional.
I admired Keller, for he was signed as a #2 to Neil Sullivan, knuckled down and got his chance.
Cerny is an exceptional professional. While he may not be Pat Jennings, he is clearly a capable goalkeeper and has waited patiently for his chance without complaint.
Robbo should learn from these examples. His form has been shaky for 2 years (ever since that Pires goal in the 1-1 draw at the lane 2 years ago, and the Van Nistelrooy fumble shortly after!) and has to accept that every player is replaceable.
although i think robbo is an excellent keeper, when in form, best shot stopper in the prem, which makes up for his woefull set piece/ corners handling. However, i do feel he is throwing his rattle out of the pram a bit, i mean, what makes him excempt from being rotated like any other on field player, u don't see robbie keane throwing a hissy fit when defoe or bent plays, neither do any of the other squad members, even defoe has always maintained he wants to fight for his place.
The simple fact is, robbo had a huge dip in form, and was given ample oppotunity to get fit, and get his game back. Looks like he tried, but his confidence was wafer thin, and u can't have that with a defense like ours. Cerny has done well, but robbo is still no1, he should just fight for his place, like everyone else has too.
I'm agree with you but ... robbo is not as great goalkeeper... he has enormous errors ... and a goalkeeper must be very sure
I sign another goalkeeper
Lately in England have not good goalkeepers
I have always been a fan of Robbo but i thought not joining in the celebrations was bang out of order.
If he is too much of a prima donna to try & win his place back then he might as well piss of up north.
I'll give him £50 for his copy of the Opus to see him on his way.
To be honest, Robba has NEVER been a top class keeper for us. It is a myth! He has been error prone for a couple of years, as i suggested in my earlier post, and to be frank, we can do without.
I always gave robbo the benefit f the doubt because of his 7 year contract (unheard of in modern football) but in truth, he is a weak weak man.
He needs to get a thicker skin, and fight for his place. Cerny is an international keeper. #2 only to Cech.
Robbo just **** off. We don't love you any more. You can watch the Carling Cup Final from home you TWAT!
